Anime finished airing. Looks like they're planning on a second season as well since they included the Anya/Avdocha meetup that's otherwise a complete throw-away scene otherwise.

Didn't enjoy the season much. For me the problem was in Art.

I know the feeling and I was doing the encodes for the eps but to me was the way they rushed the story line. i mean doing the first four volumes in just only 12 eps it would have been better if they had done only the first 2 volumes at most. :(
Always on the hunt for good Anime and their associated Light Novels, Manga. :)

I agree they should have followed HS DXD's style with 2 volumes per season. Because of that they've got season 3 in the works. Still things are starting to get very interesting with vol 5 and the first arc now finished.

I had tanslated the title for the chapters in volume 6 and 7. Please check or suggest if there is any that you think is more suitable. Cause i think that, especially 'Ashley Trapped' is somewhat funny.
Also, for anyone here who knew photo editing, I welcome anyone to help stitch the images in the series that was seperated by the book page.

Ya about that. Im curious as to why its translated as "Ashley"....Did Ash cross dress in order to disguise himself or something?

thanks for all the hard work. i really enjoy this series :D :D :D
I think being a God Slayer would be the funnest job in the world. I can't think of anything more fun then life and death battles with the gods and dragons.

This is a great series; I'm glad it's been picked up. Thanks, guys.

Only, where can I read the translated first chapter of Volume 6? It's been translated according to MangaUpdates. Isn't it? Will it be uploaded to Baka-Tsuki when the whole Volume has been translated? I notice that the way the rest of the series has been uploaded probably means it's really like that.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but... if I want to do some proofreading/editing for grammar and such, how would I do so? Also, what is the formatting for thoughts? Single quotes? Double Quotes?

I've already read the Format Guidelines and glanced over the Terminology Guidelines.

Here is also an example of what I wished to do in some chapters (check in "Suggestions" mode).

---

On another note the very first chapter of Volume 6 is the Prologue.

Also... some things confuse me.
Spoiler! :
I really don't understand the decision to call the dragon riding brigade "mounties" or the use of "feller" (check below quotes).
Vol6Prologue wrote:“Get in the carriage! Quick! I warn you, the journey till Ansarivan will be guarded by Mounties. You better not try anything funny.”
The translator's note or so was: 騎竜部隊. Literally means dragon riding troops. I will put it as Mounties as of the Canadian police force.
Vol6Prologue wrote:That feller always bears the urge to destroy as the Nehalennia’s dark dragons’ king.

Hi!
I'd like to start editing and I was wondering how to do it without getting the translators angry. I already read the Format Guidelines and glanced over the Terminology Guidelines like the person above me, however since I am new to this I am not 100% sure as to exactly how much power that gives me in terms of rewriting the grammar. I was thinking I might just dump my work into the Discussion section of the chapter I'm working on, and then the TLer and other editors can look over it/collaborate together to see how/where it needs to be changed.

Thanks for reading this!

Please read this first: Baka-Tsuki:Project Conventions.
After that, please let us see your skills, you will find here a few pages from each chapter from volumes 4, 5 and the first chapter of volume 6 -in those pages you can find some suggestions - add your own suggestions for edits - I'll check them and together we will decide the final edits ( since I have test in university I'll go through those pages slowly, so take your time to add suggestions for edits).

You can find all of those HERE.
Well as you can see, each translator as his own "formatting/signs" for those staff (I mean whatever/when using " or ” ect...).
