Re: MM!
I think MM is a fantastic anime and manga... I'd be very, very happy if the novels were translated. It's hilarious, with interesting characters, and surprisingly touching. The writing style in the light novels doesn't seem to be the best, but the story is just great. It's one of the only stories where I like two female love rivals equally; I can't decide who Tarou should be with because I love them both (Mio and Arashiko) I really, really hope this gets translated.

This novel consists of 12 volumes, and while I totally agree with what you mentioned, it is quite saddening that we will never know who Tarou ends up with.AmbeyAtashi wrote:I think MM is a fantastic anime and manga... While I personally prefer Arashiko, from indications of the way the plot goes in MM!, I believe that the ending however, would end up with Tarou being with Mio. But this however is my own speculation.
In a way, I hope that this will not get translated, because just like KnS, stories that we love, yet with no ending, is really really saddening...
God!!
You need not forgive me.
For those I love,
The violence brought about by sinful men
Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

Re: MM!
It's very sad that there isn't an ending, but this series has made me laugh a lot, and even if it doesn't have a proper ending, I'd still be happy to see what there was of it translated. It may be partially because there's a lot of personal appeal for me, because I myself am a bit of an M, and masochistic characters aren't too common in anime, and when they are present, they're usually two-dimensional or just weirdos, but Tarou's very human. While this series is very funny, it's also unique, and like I said, surprisingly touching. It brings up a lot of issues that just aren't common in stories today, and I like that. So if whoever translated the teaser is reading this, please know that you have at least one fan who's behind this all the way! <3ShadowZeroHeart wrote: This novel consists of 12 volumes, and while I totally agree with what you mentioned, it is quite saddening that we will never know who Tarou ends up with.

Re: MM!
Though I liked the anime, I get the feeling it wouldn't work well as a light novel, at least for me. Also, since the author passed away, even if all the volumes were translated, I would feel empty by the end, since no closure, makes me quite angry and all not anyone's fault but fates. If it is translated I will read it, but likely still will be angry by the end.

Personally, I liked the novels more than the anime. The development was a little slower, but flows much better.dim1 wrote:Though I liked the anime, I get the feeling it wouldn't work well as a light novel, at least for me. Anger management wise, I agree. Many a times I still wonder who he would go with in the end... Sigh.

Re: MM!
I disagree. Not translating the novel just because the series will never be finished is, I think, a great disrespect to the author.
I'm sure he would have wanted his work to have been read by even more people, even after his death.
Using someone's death and inability to finish the work as an excuse? Not good enough.
That being said, if only I could read Japanese or if there was a Korean version of MM!, I KNOW I would be the one to translate it...
