Re: Hidan no Aria [Aria the Scarlet Ammo]
nice volume 9 is almost finished...
But for Pete's sake please do not go to volume 10 before the vol 8 if finished.
throw to whoever is supposed to be working on volume 8 a bucketful of cold water in the face. If they do not react ( they are dead) just give them a proper funeral and give living people the chapters of vol 8 to work on.
No point in leaving rotting corpses lying on an incomplete( and seemingly abandoned) volume, deterring anyone who could work on it with their presence

I normally won't speak up for anyone on a translation that has been none of my business for a damned long time but for old times sake, since I used to work on this, I'll say this.octapusxft wrote:nice volume 9 is almost finished...

We are not your slaves.
That translator has given more than enough signals that anyone is free to pick up where she left off. It's not as if she didn't say she lost interest in translating it
So if no one reacts then its simply put, your own goddamned problem.

First of all, do not take offense cause I meant none sorry if you saw it that way. I never said that anyone has to gets his arse to translate it ( I know better than to say something this absurd to people doing volunteer work). What I was saying was that I was assuming that since the next volume was having a decent progress and 8 did not for many months that it was "taken" by someone who was no longer working on it for whatever reason thus preventing others working on it and making them work on the next volume instead. I had absolutely no way to know otherwise! It appears I was half right after-all ( The person indeed gave up but at least informed the website of doing so).Cosmic Eagle wrote:

I am very very happy with knowing that the translator who stopped volume 8 was thoughtful enough to inform she will no longer work on it instead of vanishing without a word as I have seen people do in other places. I also thank you for passing this information to me despite the obvious amounts of undeserved spite.
So I am sorry and I will try to be more careful with my use of words in the future in order to avoid such situations. Peace?

I wouldn't thank me just yet, seeing as in lieu of translating I've been reading manga ^^
