Actually, If a person has never touched a computer, they most likely wouldn't know that the blue color means link. But that leads to the question of how they found the site to start with. It could be safe to assume that they were either guided by an outside source, or figured it out by "playing". If it were the first option, then that outside source would (if it were a person), explain what are the next steps. If it were Google, the blue link would correspondence would clue in their head. However if it was mangaupdates, the blue background gives the illusion of the blue color to be another, as well as it says "Click here".

The only ways I see it possible that they would not know what to do, is if the site had already been opened by the time the person entered the computer. The chances of that are below 1%. Another would be if they were an idiot, but if they were, they wouldn't find the button no matter what.

So In conclusion, either or would be nice, but in my eyes, I rather chose the latter option. The reason would simply because of eye candy. The problem with this is that people wouldn't know what to click. A solution of this is already present. Whenever a link is clickable, the cursor changes into the shape of a hand pointing an index finger. So That is all I have to rant about.

That it is. But it's a matter of opinion which one looks better. So one has no other hope of not being biased. Hocc is used to it, so he likes it... I am not, so I do not like it. Simple eh?

So you guys think that one out of 4 blue links (counting Ads) and just a huge unclickable picture is the best that B-T can come up with as the first thing people see when visiting this site? Do you guys have a webdesign skills of a 9yr old? Do you want to try and do everything to get a bigger B-T community running and maybe raise awareness for these LN's? That landing page can be coded in a minute.

Since the header is almost made automatically and the google adsense html code is generated for you copy pasta. THIS IS THE HTML CODING you want EVERYONE to see when coming to your site. I don't mean to be harsh on TLG since he probably had translations on his mind. But now is the time to fix these overlooked issues. This could be coded in less than 20 secs, my mistake. No offense to the site coder. IT DOESN'T EVEN USE META TAGS!!

Either autoredirect the landing page to the main page of wiki and do a better ad placement on wiki (if you are so concerned about that). And put the huge picture on the mainpage of wiki just in moderate size centered(if you are so concerned about keeping your logo).

Sir, please, as I said before calm down and stop being so offensive.

This site has been around (and thrived) even with an intro page like that.

There is no way admin-ship / the ability to mold the wiki will be given to any new person here, I don't even hold that title.

As I have said before, you treat this as though we do this for our job....this is for fun and to spread light novels, the way you get to them is up to the guy upstairs, TLG.

It's not that it's not simple to do, it's that we don't have the time. Some of us work, others go to college, Hell, even some of the translations you read are done by High School Students. Be proud to be part of a community like this, and stop bringing up every little issue you see. I'm certain it has been brought up before, however, everything takes a consensus of the majority wanting to do it, unless you want someone to rule this entirely and just delete every suggestion you have written. Be happy we will listen to your complaints, as well....I know many places that could care less as to what others say.

Look, I'm sorry, but your not going to get contact with TLG. That's like a local priest asking for the popes phone number, and lets face it, your not even at the level of a priest. Don't just yell for major changes (Rome wasn't built/rebuilt in a day); Work out the little things,and get more in touch with the community, which, as Hocchan stated, is just to spread LN's and enjoy what we're doing. So chill, and try to have some fun here.

Pshh, just be laid back and have fun. Kira (resident stalker/postmaster general) has 10,000 posts and Hobogunner has around 6.7k posts. They both started at 0. If you are around alot, and just show yourself to be a cool person(gender?) the community will respond in kind. Though I think a negative tone with anger behind it isn't exactly cool. Lol. Nice Picture. Btw, Ip is correct about the meta-tags section. That is if we want more traffic... I believe that maybe a Pm suggestion would have been easier if done in the first place. also when someone receives a Pm, depending on what they set on their preferences, they should receive an email tell them this. Also just because someone has an email, doesn't mean they check it.
