Noboru Yamaguchi passed away
It seems that Noboru Yamaguchi has passed away on April 4th after battling 2 years with cancer. Planned to finish the last two novels but never had the chance. Sad day for us ZnT fans who appreciated Noboru Yamaguchi's novels

The service for him was held on Tuesday so Media Factory was likely waiting for that to happen before releasing their statment.

Just like the Author of the Kaze no stigma also died of cancer, discontinuing the series.
When will we get some effective tumour killing medicine out?!
The shock of the terrible quality of the last ZnT season must had also contributed a bit on taking him down.

Always wondering why do translators go AWOL?

BTW he said that the plot for the last remaining 2 volumes was already decided and 21 should be partially written. Does anyone know if Media Factory plans to put that partial work and the plotline a good use?

Maybe Noboru Yamaguchi left a bunch of notes for the two novels that it can be compiled to finish those two novels. Similar to what other authors that died without finishing theirs.

That's really too bad. I hope they plan to release his last novels, if he had them planned out. May he rest in peace.

R.I.P
Even if they get someone to write it in his place, it will never be the same. The jokes, behavioral nuances, antics will never be the same.
