Hello, I am new to Light Novels, I just read yahari ore no seishun love come wa machigatteiru and thought it was really good. I am interested in more novels and have a couple of questions before I go read more.

How long does it take for the author to release a new chapter/volume?

How long does it take for the translation after a chapter/volume is released?

What are some good Light Novels to begin to read?

For your first and second questions - both the author and the translator aren't limited by time - but usualy - there is at least 2-3 volumes release per year by the author and if it is active and popular LN the translation will start at max 2-3 weeks after the release - for each project/translation the time is different.
