Re: What made you think about your cybernames?
I have no idea why I came up with the name 'BitterSugar'... I actually have another cybername which I use for practically everything but I decided to use something fresh for BT. I was probably trying to be creative during the time I created it so I used two antithetical words :\
Oh! But I like sweet things (CHOCOLATE) so I was slightly influenced by that?

Mine was from just cutting up two words and putting them together. Coincidentally they ended up making another word with a nice meaning that fit well for the character of my story.

Re: What made you think about your cybernames?
Way back at the beginning of my high school years, I wanted to try being creative. At the time, the biggest obstacle (beside my lacking knowledge of any and all media) was the name under which I should publish my soon-to-be-created amazing works. My actual name was boring; I shared it with no less than two US senators. Deciding on a new name, I didn't want it to be so informal that I would be laughed at in cultured circles, or so formal that I couldn't use it to contribute online without feeling like a stiff. The quick fix was to just mix up all the letters in my name, and *poof!* Darwen G'wein.
Of course, spell check occasionally swoops in on the sly, so in some circles (like AO3 and its affiliates) I'm "Darwin".

Re: What made you think about your cybernames?
When i was 15 i think, i was really in Metroid and Legend of Zelda games, i started in Runescape around the same time and since i wanted to give a cool name i combined both my current interest at that time and my year of birth.
You can find me in MAL with the same nick and other games, some times is already used by "my nemesis " so i use Prolinkmet95

Re: What made you think about your cybernames?
Huh, well, mine's nothing special, kinda feel sad.
Mine comes from my name. Well, my nickname I guess. It's easy for me to remember, so I decided to stick with it for most sites.
And I also remember Runescape. When I first came here, it was amazing compared to everything else I had seen (which wasn't much, I was about 6-7 at the time), so I spent a few years with it. I got banned eventually though . I was also losing interest too, but it was still sad at the time.

My name comes from a Doctor Who story arc monster; the Great Old One Hastur the Unspeakable, also known as Fenric. And the Number of the beast in Judeo-Christian tradition.
I felt the two matched up well since both refer to a great evil.

Short of Aster Lawliet, mostly used as Aster Lawrence as a pen name. Because the name is awesome.
