If you are refering to the last chapter, then you might want to consult a dictionary. Annulus refers to a ring, or a ring-like structure. But, the root Annul is to cancel. So it could mean the cancelation of the extermination.
While it seems to be the end of the devil-king exterminator storyline I don't think it marks the end of the story.

Does the word "last" and "final" have equivalent japanese if so what is used. We should not jump to conclusion though. Final arc could mean that it's the final arc of KOTE saga . Another boss may appear just as strong. Erlang may be hint on this. I will wait for official announcement.

I hope you're right, even if I think the KOTE saga is itself an arc of the story, maybe Erlang will have his own arc, cause it's true the short story let us think he would make an apparence, and i don't think he will come before the KOTE... so your theory makes sense.
