RIP, I might as well just learn the kanji I need to read this like I did with some VNs and buy the Japanese volumes because in terms of costs it's roughly the same for me. (or get the raws somewhere in the internet...)

As for dropping fun translation, it's probably Translators decision, they can move to somewhere else (SAO way), or drop, if what, there are few options on where to host translation, but that won't be easy like BT

Come on isnt there anyway to keep translating mahouka a blogspot or wordpress account anything since its gonna take at least 4 years for vol 15 to be out

I've really been looking forward to a "Succession" chapter so I'll be thankful if someone would just take it through 16. This is a series that I'll buy as available but I really don't want to have to make do with a wiki summary due to slow releases. Maybe 16 could get done before bt's kill date?

Hope Yen Press is committed to publishing the series to the end & doesn't drop it but continue to tie up the license.

With the date set for October 2015, it looks like there might be a bit of breathing room to finish up 14 & 15 ~ if I read the BT policies right? Maybe 16 could make it too but just not last being posted very long?

At the very earliest we may get volume 16 by May. That leaves a whole 2 months for translation, which is impossible to work with. Oh man, tell me this isn't happening. I don't mind paying for my stuff, but this... this is just too much. YP take forever on translating, just look at Spice and Wolf 6 YEARS LATER and they still aren't finished. SW ended in 2011 for god's sake.

No 16 won't make it because the policy only allows those novels to be finished and that's it.
