Nodame Cantabile
Has anyone else been watching Nodame Cantabile? I've watched up to episode 11 and am loving it. I know that 12 and 13 are out in Japan but nothing so far...I want to scream, "What is the deal here?" However, I will save my wine-ing for my cheese...So, I just can't get over the animation, the music, and Nodame's voice. What is up with her voice?

Yeah Nodame is a nice anime. It follows the manga pretty closely except the occasional missing scene. It's also the only live action I've managed to watch with barley a cringe. I like how unique Nodame is as a "heroine". Makes a nice change.
Dunno about you having trouble finding subs ainsoph, ep19 was subbed today. Check out animesuki.

I think it isn't on Animesuki. If it isn't there, go to http://tokyotosho.com/ and type in Nodame Cantabile there. Should be first result.Symphonia wrote:Dunno about you having trouble finding subs ainsoph, ep19 was subbed today. Check out animesuki.

I was actually planning on watching Nodame, but then I realized I would have had to delete a bunch of anime I haven't seen yet. Anyway...

Yeah, thanks to HardGay Fansubs for starting to sub Nodame again when the other subbers dropped the ball. Now, I can get my full dose of Nodame, which has been awesome. The series just keeps getting better, too. I love how they have taken the time to coordinate the fingerings and the music correctly! Not many series do that, except for series like Beck. The series is just shear art in its most aesthetic sense.

For those of you who thought that the first season ended abruptly (with good reason):

I generally prefer the manga and drama to the anime, but I watch it anyway Nice to hear they'll be continuing it as well.

Re: Nodame Cantabile
While I do enjoy the manga, I must say that the anime fills in the gaps with the music. It is kind of hard to "hear" the music as you read unless you have the recordings on hand to listen to as you read along.
