Re: little help
If VLC doesn't work, try Zoom Player. Make sure to turn subtitles on. If you still have a problem just look for a torrent here.

How to Fix your video viewing forever!
Step 1: Delete all your codecs (or back them up).
Step 2: Download K-Lite Codec Pack. http://www.codecguide.com/ (I recommend the Full version)
Step 3: Install the codec pack.
Step 4: Run the Codec Tweak Tool.
Step 5: Click on all the box in the Fixes section. (Optional: Click on any extras you know you need)
Step 6: Run the tool.
Step 7: Change any file associations if necessary.
Step 8: Run your videos on MPC and enjoy!

Re: little help
CCCP is only really useful if all you do is watch low quality anime on shitty computers...
When I use CCCP, I can't get HD, Bluray, or similary 1080i formats to play properly. Whereas K-lite does the trick for me. I usually see most of the complaints about it is that because of the sheer amount of codecs it installs, it slows your computer. Honestly, your computer would have to be crap to be slowed down by codecs.
In addition, the K-lite codec pack has lots of other features like the ability to set where I want movie thumbnails to be placed so my video thumbnails are not all black screens.
CCCP is like thepiratebay. Pretentious and annoying, believing itself to be supreme over all others.

Re: little help
I install my codecs piecemeal.
If something isn't working, I install the codec I need and only that one. Codec packs are for lazy people.

Re: little help
I never had a problem with K-Lite or CCCP packs in the past. Right now I use CCCP as my primary to play both regular and HD videos with no problem at all. I must say though, ZPlayer/WMPC > VLC.

Re: little help
I used CCCP for a long time and then switched to K-Lite when it started poking everything up.
