PuiPui manga translation: now looking for translators

Post by Beware the talking cat »

Well, after a month or two of trying to translate the first chapter of PuiPui, I have made little progress.

I'm not giving up, I am going to dig into this project and not let go, but there is a limit on my translation skills, and, more importantly, on my time.

I simply have too much work to try and work on the translation for more than an hour or so a week, and although I hoped to get a lot of it done over thanksgiving break, I was too occupied by family to take the time(sorry).
The next chance I will have for any decent amount of translation will be over winter break, in three weeks.

For this reason, I am now searching for a translator for the PuiPui manga, for Chinese to English for chapter six, or more preferably, for Japanese to English(chapter 6+).

I am still going to continue translating, in the case nobody wants to pick this up, but I feel since I am going to be doing this at a slower than expected pace, I should give someone else the chance if they would like.

That's about all for now, thank you, and again, sorry.

I am very sorry, but, please begone!

If I can get the raws again from TGM, I can work on the manga for this. It seems there is a decent # of fans for it :)

and with Vaelis doing all the hard work, I just need to translate, lol :)

Currently there is nothing to be done, we are waiting for raws(though this is my fault for not asking for the raw a month ago, rather than two days ago).

Another thing would be, though i think it would be the minority, that people thinks B-T would be doing manga as well... Any plans to move in that direction? LOLz!

Krikit, coincidence or not, that avatar of yours is just like what happened to me moments ago, so for some reason I cant recall what we talked about here... Strange right?

something similar happened to me a ways back, which is why I changed it. though in that case, I just hit my too tall for Japan head on this metal overhanging signpost while looking at my kanji book trying to cram before school :)
