I was wondering if any of the original novel's scans are needed for TLing? I'm going to be heading to Japan for a month or two, and while i don't currently have the ability to TL myself, I'd love to help out however else I can. I the unavailability of novel scans is a limiting factor, I'd be more than willing to grab some of them and provide scanned copies for TLing purposes.

We don't need Japanese raws for any of the series Baka-Tsuki are translating.
