Especially when you're not used to the food down there. It's heavily recommended that tourists are not to consume hawker food in foreign countries.
@Kira, too late to call Oni out for that...
@Oni, tried the silkworms over there?

Though I prefer the street food in China rather than the food in big restaurants. Love the atmosphere.Teh_ping wrote: Especially when you're not used to the food down there. It's heavily recommended that tourists are not to consume hawker food in foreign countries.
Last time I had food poisoning was when I ate the chocolates given by a classmate. Didn't want to hurt her feelings so I had to eat it. Strong enough to kill Chuck Norris.

you must have an iron stomach with super strong acidic juices. but then again, I think it does depend on the cities and districts. I've only eaten restaurant food in China since I'm almost always on biz trips when I'm there and get treated .

Re: Update on the translations
You all work too quickly. We made the list just a few days ago and two more translations sprout out of the ground like mushrooms after the rain!
More seriously, though: we need to flesh out the list a little bit more so we can fully view the timespans involved in the projects. That, or somehow generate an automated report, since keeping this up to date could be a bear.

Re: Update on the translations
Just updated the page. Did the English until Fate/Zero. Please don't mind the STALLED tags. Will be edited when I'll have the time, so probably next week (March Break).

Re: Update on the translations
Apparently, a lot. We each have our obsession. If it weren't for the fact that at the moment I'm trying to rewrite my Japanese text parser, I would probably tackle writing a wiki spider to generate those reports automatically.
Interestingly enough, when I originally wrote my parser, I used it both to make some sense out of the text, and to get the word definitions. Now, I parse the text in my head, but still rely on my program to gather all the word definitions. It gets a little frustrating when neither my parser nor JUMAN breaks the sentences up properly, and therefore doesn't gather the right definitions. For that reason, I'm rewriting the parser.
Besides, as a computer programmer, that kind of thing is tempting to me anyway...

Well, that's good. But computer programmers need to study a lot since the technology is always changing.rpapo wrote:Apparently, a lot. We each have our obsession. Oh yeah, could you post the list you made for the other languages fromm A to H, but with the terms "last translation on XXX by YYY" or simply "regular updates by YYY"? It would look a bit better since it is less complicated. But no need to delete what you did before, just add to it.
Also, is Himatsubushi alive? His last post was on November.
