Re: Zaregoto Series
This series was absolutely amazing. It would mean so much if you guys could translate it. The author really is amazing at creating creators that really "break the mold" of your typical characters, (Take Ii, for example.) What I truly admire about this series is how it fits many themes into it??? It's really hard to explain but I love this series so much

Re: Zaregoto Series
I am sure this is on the dead and burried side but I was wondering would a semi translated english templet help?
This person seems to have done an OCR scan and translated but the english verse is too rough to fix unless you can look at the orginial for a check.

I still have the files (.docs) and some scans of the books. Would something like that help motivate and possible get the translations going. I can email them to anyone who wants a look at they are.

Re: Zaregoto Series
These are all the Zaregoto translation I have found. Both are starting from volume 3, at this rate we will have alot of volume 3's. There needs to be a support group or somthing, from what I can understand and follow the zaregoto series is kind of hard to translate. There are alot of people who love the zaregoto series and would LOVE to read the books. I am sure a nice chunk of them aren't translators myself included.

Re: Zaregoto Series
You guys should definitely consider picking up Zaregoto. It may not be as well known as most other Light Novels but I'd definitely place its quality above most other big titles like SAO and Index, and I'm a big fan of those two as well.
I can see how Zaregoto would be a monster to translate though, especially since it's NisiOisin we're talking here. On the plus side, if Shaft is really considering doing X amount of NisiOisin pieces, then Zaregoto might be somewhere on the list, considering its popularity in Japan. That might bump its popularity up over in the Americas/Europe.

You can read the Volume 1 here: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/sample/read/9780345504272
Just create an account (free) and you're ready to go. Also, here's the link for the PDF of the 3rd volume: http://suiminchuudoku.net/files/Zaregot ... School.pdf
I have bought the 2nd Volume (english) on a bookstore somewhere. I can probably scan them in the near future...
