The data folder under root doesn't contain anything... but the images are stored in mnt/sdcard/.... there's no /data/data/com.erakk.lnreader/ directory and no database files...

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
If there is no /data/data/com.erakk.lnreader/, then the data shouldn't be in the internal memory. Can you search for pages.db? This is the db where I store the text. I suspect the db also in the /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.erakk.lnreader/databases or somewhere.jomkingal wrote:The data folder under root doesn't contain anything... but the images are stored in mnt/sdcard/.... there's no /data/data/com.erakk.lnreader/ directory and no database files...

oh man... I searched the root for pages.db... it didn't show up... also, /mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.erakk.lnreader/ folder only contains /files/project/ and 2 folders inside. /images/ and /skins/...
no database folders....

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
Moving the app to the SD card doesn't move the databases folder to the SD card with it for me either.
I'm doing some quick comparisons with the internal and external folders and I'm not seeing a difference when I "move" to SD card.

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
Based on Android SDK documentation (http://developer.android.com/guide/topi ... ation.html):
EDIT: for my reference: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5332 ... -path-name
I'll check if it is possible to move the db to external memory, probably need some code to handle this. The .apk file is saved on the external storage, but all private user data, databases, optimized .dex files, and extracted native code are saved on the internal device memory.

Thanks man. haha! didn't know that it was too much trouble.
anyway, i'll think of some cool options that you could add to the app sometime.
ja ne!~
Edit: the lnreader unexpectedly stops when updating automatically. It happens when there is new update. Is it just me?

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
it says "LNReader unexpectedly stopped" then the update still appears on the notification pane. and when you open the notification, it opens normally.
//================
another crashing problem is that when you open a not downloaded chapter in the chapter list, the LNReader crashes.
another thing when you clear the images and novel database, there appears a message box that says LNReader is not responding but when you press wait, LNReader continues functioning like nothing happened.

This need the ADB log, can you provide the step by step to replicate the error?jomkingal wrote:it says "LNReader unexpectedly stopped" then the update still appears on the notification pane. and when you open the notification, it opens normally.
This is weird, mine is just open and try to download the chapter.jomkingal wrote:another crashing problem is that when you open a not downloaded chapter in the chapter list, the LNReader crashes.
This is normal, as currently I don't show a dialog box to mention the deletion is still in process.jomkingal wrote:another thing when you clear the images and novel database, there appears a message box that says LNReader is not responding but when you press wait, LNReader continues functioning like nothing happened
Anyway you can post an issue through https://github.com/calvinaquino/LNReade ... id/issues/

Change log for v20121022:
Put issues in https://github.com/calvinaquino/LNReader-Android/issues with your device model, android version, and step to replicate the error.
- Add Baka-Tsuki:Copyright in Settings
- Refactor DisplayLightNovelDetailsActivity.
- Hide preview table to avoid FC because of heap grow caused by animated gif (ZnT vol3ch1).
- Change Alarms to use set, rather than setInterval to avoid duplicated alarms when application is restarted.

Re: New Baka-Tsuki Android App: Development
okay. i'm gonna try to recreate the problem on the latest update. gonna post on the page probably this week. haha! :3 ja ne!~
another problem: can you put a keep screen on option? it seems that whenever i download a light novel, when the screen timeouts, the download unexpectedly stops.
try setting your screen timeout to 30 seconds then download a light novel(i downloaded high school dxd and sword art online) then while downloading, the screen turns off, then when you press the home button to see what's happening, you will notice that the download isn't responding anymore. it's stuck on the last image or text it has been downloading.

You know what, just remove the zoom buttons entirely. It's good enough to pinch-to-zoom, we dont need a button.
As for the alarms change, does that mean that it wont vibrate and/or chime for like a few seconds when it "updates" 30 chapters at once and then gives a notification for each of them?

I personally like having buttons to zoom with. Have that as an option in the settings?

Probably I'll create an option to hide the zoom button, please note zoom button hiding only work on Android Honeycomb+.Button or no button, that is the question.

Or, Or, you could move the zoom button, like on the middle of the right side rather than the bottom (then rotate it if it gets in the way)Nandaka wrote: Probably I'll create an option to hide the zoom button, please note zoom button hiding only work on Android Honeycomb+.
