이제 날 찾아도 애니메이션게시판에서 볼 수 없을거야, 그만뒀거든.
이거 알려줄려고 온 게 아니라 어쩌다 메일누르다가 오게 된거임.
그리고 신기해서 좀 둘러보았는데 이런 것도 있네?
주위에 다 영어라서 내 한국말이 엄청 위화감이 있당 헤헤.
나 사실 어느정도 영어도 할 수 있어.예를 들어, 이 밑의 글에 50% 정도는 알아들을 수 있을거야.
아마 인터넷검색을 이용하면 100% 알아듣겠지.
한국에선 나같이 아무것도 하지 않을려는 학생에게도 억지로 영어를 주입시켜줬으니깐 ㅇㅇ.
억지로 배운만큼 영어가 싫다는 게 영어작문으로 이 글을 쓰고 있지 않은 이유야.

Hi monkeii, actually if you read the feedback threads on baka tsuki forums, NanoDesu had said that they would take over the TL for Sakurasou. But I am kinda against that and I wanted to let BT host instead, cause of reasons I said in the thread. But I'm really happy that you are willing to help TL it. Since it is still a teaser, and the situation is different, I think we can just ignore the rules for now (because ND has a high chance of hosting), so maybe we'll just try to finish Vol 1 and make it into an official project before 2013? XD
On a side note, it's actually "Jin" instead of "Gin", and we decided to keep it as "sakurasou" instead of "Sakurasou dorms" :P
Nonetheless, really a big thank you for helping out. I'm trying my best to finish the volume by 2012,so really, I really appreciated your help. XD - - [[user:Magykalman|Magykalman]]

Ha ha, I have previous TL experiences, and I'm an active translator in a scanslation group under a different ID. So I can do about 1000 words per hour if I'm not procrastinating XD. Damn man I'm just wondering why you changed your ID...But I won't ask further if you don't tell. :P Anyways, regarding the TL, I've deleted the extra spaces between the paragraphs. For conversations, I think we are following the rule of not double-spacing the conversation. And for the paragraphing of normal paragraphs, I think that you would need to space them out a little. It's kinda hard to read if you chunk everything together (That's why I keep the max to 3-4 lines). Just my opinion. But I think it's more reader-friendly. :P
On a side note, which language are you translating from? Because if you translated from the JP version, I think you can help me in some areas...Because I'm using the Chinese ver, so some sentence structure might be different, and even worse, some words, like the "吐槽" in the Chinese ver, (which srsly does NOT have any translation for it), is impossible to translate. Hey Monkei, sorry but I need help again. I hate names and terms... Please help me check if "Shiroyama Chiharu" is the correct name of the teacher, cause I just translated it directly. And in my latest update, there are lots of "--"s like "--, --, --, --, --," cause I have no idea how to translate the names into Romaji. Thanks in advance.

On a side note, maybe you should be more careful when you translate? Cause when I proofread Chap 3 I saw a few sentences that disappeared. LOL

Anyways, I have done 35% or so already...Argh...I'll push more, I guess... XD

About the sentence disappearing thing, it's not really that serious, but more or less words disappearing. I don't really know the Korean version of it, but in the Chinese version there were some extra sentences like "Sorata had no choice, so he got up unwillingly and turned on the light." and "His eyes were telling him to sleep, but his brain, for no reason, was very much clear. This feeling very much prevented him from staying calm." LOL

Sorry if I was wrong, but just trying to help to improve. :P

Another thing is that currently, my region only sold up to Volume 3, so if you TL with your current pace, I might not be able to keep up. Not trying to tell you not to TL at such a godly speed, but just to inform you beforehand. On a side note, maybe I should take the last chapter and the Author's note next time, cause my TL speed is the slowest. LOL XD

And I'm only TLing at a godly pace- if it can be considered to be one, because I'm stuck at home without anything interesting to do. So I'm just reading while I TL.

If there's only up to vol3 in Chinese, then maybe I should start to TL from vol4 after vol1? I don't think there's a rule that says that books must be TLed in order. That way, I can do Vol4 upwards while you work on Vol2 and 3. Just an idea that could be considered. :P

Hi monkeii, actually if you read the feedback threads on baka tsuki forums, NanoDesu had said that they would take over the TL for Sakurasou. But I am kinda against that and I wanted to let BT host instead, cause of reasons I said in the thread. But I'm really happy that you are willing to help TL it. Since it is still a teaser, and the situation is different, I think we can just ignore the rules for now (because ND has a high chance of hosting), so maybe we'll just try to finish Vol 1 and make it into an official project before 2013? XD
On a side note, it's actually "Jin" instead of "Gin", and we decided to keep it as "sakurasou" instead of "Sakurasou dorms" :P

For conversations, I think we are following the rule of not double-spacing the conversation. And for the paragraphing of normal paragraphs, I think that you would need to space them out a little. It's kinda hard to read if you chunk everything together (That's why I keep the max to 3-4 lines). Just my opinion. But I think it's more reader-friendly. :P
On a side note, which language are you translating from? Because if you translated from the JP version, I think you can help me in some areas...Because I'm using the Chinese ver, so some sentence structure might be different, and even worse, some words, like the "吐槽" in the Chinese ver, (which srsly does NOT have any translation for it), is impossible to translate. About the sentence disappearing thing, it's not really that serious, but more or less words disappearing. I don't really know the Korean version of it, but in the Chinese version there were some extra sentences like "Sorata had no choice, so he got up unwillingly and turned on the light." and "His eyes were telling him to sleep, but his brain, for no reason, was very much clear. This feeling very much prevented him from staying calm." LOL

Sorry if I was wrong, but just trying to help to improve. :P

Another thing is that currently, my region only sold up to Volume 3, so if you TL with your current pace, I might not be able to keep up. Not trying to tell you not to TL at such a godly speed, but just to inform you beforehand. On a side note, maybe I should take the last chapter and the Author's note next time, cause my TL speed is the slowest. LOL XD

If there's only up to vol3 in Chinese, then maybe I should start to TL from vol4 after vol1? I don't think there's a rule that says that books must be TLed in order. That way, I can do Vol4 upwards while you work on Vol2 and 3. Just an idea that could be considered. :P

Ah, right! I was worried for a moment. I'll double check to see if I missed anything. But it might just be the book version XD.

And I'm only TLing at a godly pace- if it can be considered to be one, because I'm stuck at home without anything interesting to do. So I'm just reading while I TL.

If there's only up to vol3 in Chinese, then maybe I should start to TL from vol4 after vol1? I don't think there's a rule that says that books must be TLed in order. That way, I can do Vol4 upwards while you work on Vol2 and 3. Just an idea that could be considered. :P

LOL yeah nice though, cause I would really want to read and find out what happens next, though I would REALLY die if I were to be the only one to TL the whole chapter... T.T

So I'm afraid that that takes the idea out. Since I translate to slow... So I think for now, the best way would be to let you and Pudding translate Vol 2 first, and when I'm done, I'll start the later part of Vol3,so that when you guys (the faster) finish translating, the whole Vol would be done.
