<div>I was the one who capitalized the "s" in Shidou earlier and I was wondering why it is capitalized in some sentences Tohka says and not in others. For example:<br />
Shidou asked, and Tohka vigorously shook her head.<br />
"No, Shidou is uhm... definitely someone whose relatives were taken hostage and threatened."<br />

Please explain it to me so that I won't make this mistake in the future.<br />

Tohka calls him シドー (Shidou in katakana) so to parallel that when Tohka calls Shidou the name will not be capitalized. <br />

Simply it's just the Translator's way of preserving the author's presentation of Shidou's name when spoken by Tohka.
