Was Sora talking to Shiro? And did he say that the head thief deceived the other thieves into living with him, then cheated to make sure they couldn't escape from being thieves?

I'm not Drinkingwater, just a Leecher, and I'm not sure of context, but it sounds like whoever is speaking was explaining the situation derisively. It could possibly make more sense if it said He/she decieved the others into living/working with him, then used cheats to cut off their escape route- how does that make you feel? with cheat being a comparison to gaming because sora/shiro is saying it?
