"Hataraku Maō-sama!" (はたらく魔王さま!), is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by 029. ASCII Media Works has published eight volumes since February 2011.

== Story Synopsis ==
The Demon Lord and one of his generals, Alsiel, escape through a portal to modern Tokyo, Japan after being confronted by the Hero Emilia Justina and her companions. However, due to the lack of magic in the modern contemporary world, both the Demon Lord and Alsiel change into forms representing what they would look like if they were human. In order to survive, the Demon Lord takes a part-time job in a fast food restaurant named MgRonald while Alsiel serves as a houseman. One day, the Demon Lord, who now goes by Sadao Maō, meets a girl who is actually the Hero Emilia, who now goes by Emi Yusa.

Is that the translation you get? Whats the original text? What's the Romaji? "No" was just a Japanese particle without any meaning right? At least we dont have a "no" in our language, that I am aware of. What is the description of this Magi no Figur? If this really were German I would say it should be Magiefigur (or Magie-Figur) which would be in English Magic Figure, but that would be a noun I never heard so like that. In German we would it probably paraphrase it as "magische Erscheinung". Or if that Magi no Figur were a Magic branch, then I would probably call it Körpermagie (English would it probably be called something like Magic of the Body)

Ah, if it is used as a Magic Focus, than I would say we would probably paraphrase it as "magische Figur" (English probably like a Magic Object) and a noun as a combination of those two words were "Magiefigur", but probably we wouldnt it call it like that ourself. How is this "Magi Figur" described? (Is it described as humanoid?)

==Editing for Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon==

Hi hi, so i'm dropping by on your talk page to ask, how do i apply edits and everything...like I mean, most of my edits are going to be major and heavy edits, so is there a way for it the page to show the edits, and wait for approval from translators? I'm new to editting on these online wiki's, since i've helped edit the Akai Ito VN translation, however it was simply link the page on a page document, place original lines, then put the editted line under it, and continue on like that, which i then sent to the translator, and after checking the lines he would then add in the appropriate ones.

Hahah no problem, I had wanted to give back to the community, since being a free leecher and all that doesn't really sit well with me. But it's not that easy editting this novel, since i think the language the author uses is quite convoluted and fancy, so for now i'm going to be focusing on making it read decently in English, before anything else such as extravagant descriptions and all that. Literally it would be like "weird space" or "abnormal space" or something but I think it can generally be translated to "different dimension" or "alternate dimension". Eg. Fuzetsu in Shana could be considered a 異空間. This is based on what it would be in Chinese though, I don't know if it has a different meaning in Japanese and it might depend on context. So, after seeing the context in [[Horizon:Volume_1A_History|Vol1 History]] I think "different dimensions" or even "parallel dimensions/universes" might fit better than Differing Space since it doesn't seem to be being used as a proper noun. Nor did i say tohyama was an incorrect spelling. Someone else had mentioned that some of the volumes had tohyama while other had had tooyama, and i was just trying to figure out which one should be used or if you wanted to leave tohyama as is. Alright, it looks like every "Tooyama" has been changed to "Tohyama", so I think we are good. Also, while checking, I noticed in volume 3 that Kinichi has an apostrophe (Kin'ichi), and I was wondering if that was a mistake or if it was cause of an accent or a different translation. Ah, when the kanji or whatever ends with the character ん or ン (n), the ' is used to denote it as such. Think about it this way, you can have kin-ichi, or kini-chi. See the difference? The ' is used to make it clear that the 'n' is its own character. However, when romanizing, it isn't always necessary. That's the thing about romaji. Rinslet, who dismounted from the horse, calmly muttered.

"It's because several decades have passed since it became an abandoned mine. There should be no humans living here."

Bluish-white will-o'-wisps were wavering here and there near a ruin.

Her ponytail hair was fluttering in the thunderous-blowing wind.

Her appearance was that she had her Knights armor destroyed and was covered in lacerations. From that, he could see that she had wounds all over her body.

"Ha, as expected of Knights leader-sama, you've entertained me considerably, haven't you?!"

A loud ear-hurting laughter resounded in the tunnel.

Before Ellis, stood a boy with glaring shiny red eyes.

At that moment, Rinlet's released ice arrow rained at the spot the two of them were at.

It was a direct hit— Jio's silhouette was swallowed up by the downpour of arrows and disappeared.

"Hmm, it is troubling that you have forgotten me!"

Placing her hand at her waist, Rinslet quickly brushed up her platinum-blonde hair.

While Kamito was stopping the sword, she was holding an aim affixed on him.
