If it's not too late, I'd also like to add a few words of gratitude as a reader. Even if you weren't perfect, you were readable and fast, and that's nothing to complain about. I hope you keep up with the translation somewhere even if it's not at baka-tsuki.
Well, I'm not gonna be like "THANX FOR EVERYTHING", buuuut I do thank you for all the fun u delivered with this ridiculousness. Don't really follow SAO, but it's quite funny how laughable angst still flourishes here from time to time (first Kikou Shoujou and now this) :'D Just hope few projects I do follow won't suddenly die because of some variation of this ego failure. Then it won't be oh so funny anymore.
== SAO Picture Texts ==

Hi. I have a request. Could you translate the Pictures shown on [[Talk:Sword Art Online#Volume 6]]. I'd like it if you could translate them in the next few days. Then I can photoshop the translations into the pictures. I've already done some of them. But I need the text for the untranslated ones. I just need the translations. Leave the photoshopping to me. Thanks. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User_talk:Zero2001|Talk]] - 11:41, 1 May 2012 (CDT)

That's all good. Thanks a lot. BTW here's how to add to the talk page:
<nowiki>
<gallery>
Image:Insert Image1 Name here.extension|Add Translated text here.
Image:Insert Image2 Name here.extension|Use <br /><br /> for line spacing. And yes you need to use it twice or even thrice.
Image:Insert Image3 Name here.extension|Do not press enter until next picture in gallery.
Image:Insert Image4 Name here.extension|Then repeat the code as shown.
</gallery>

Okay I'll begin work on the translated ones. I myself use and suggest using Anime Ace 2.0 or Wild Words. They are a similar font to the Japanese writing method and thus more popular. As for the pics, as long as they don't go over 2 MB I don't see any problem using the maximum settings. Vol9 pics are going to be a little bit of work since I'll need to fix the levels as well. BTW what are your thoughts on the de-dusting of [[Image:Sword Art Online Vol 06 -006.jpeg|50px]] and [[Image:Sword Art Online Vol 06 -007.jpeg|50px]]. I still have their photoshop files so any edits are still possible. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User_talk:Zero2001|Talk]] - 00:15, 2 May 2012 (CDT)

To Pyrun: Translated or edited? If there is a problem in the traslation then tell me. I still have the PSD files. Correcting the mistakes would be easy for me. But no, I'm not gonna stop using the Anime Ace 2.0 font. It's the default for Japanese Scanlation. I will probably edit the others to reflect as well if it's no problem. If you think they're translated horribly then please talk about it on the talk page in the above link. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User_talk:Zero2001|Talk]] - 01:44, 2 May 2012 (CDT)

To BeginnerXP: Sorry about the redline. As for the bad quality ones they can be fixed. A little leveling and smudging or clone stamping will fix the problem. We can't keep waiting around forever. We have to make do with what we have. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User_talk:Zero2001|Talk]] - 01:44, 2 May 2012 (CDT)

To Zero2001: The default scanlation font for a long time was either [http://www.dafont.com/anim-ace.font Anime Ace] or Wild Words. However, some groups use different fonts depending on "compatibility" with the art material, particularly if it is a colour work or highly-stylized doujin. Non-hentai manga scanlators seem to be the most conservative in their choices by sticking to the default. With doujinshi-type scanlators, there seems to be greater willingness to vary font choices to suit the material rather than being required to stick to the defaults of Anime Ace or Wild Words. If you're not Zero and you're reading this, you may be interested in the manga editing tutorial info/links at [http://dynasty-recruit.pbworks.com/w/page/18436284/Editors Dynasty Scans Editor Recruit Info].

I am aware what to use for which circumstance. I just completed downloading all of Blambot's free fonts and am using NexusFonts font manager to manage them. I am already aware that Anime Ace 2.0 and Wild Words '''are''' mostly used. Thus the reason I chose Anime Ace 2.0. I definitely won't choose a horrendous font like comic-sans (urrrgh, the mere thought of that send shivers up my spine) so rest assured. Thanks for the input though. I'll be sure to consider it. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User_talk:Zero2001|Talk]] - 07:19, 15 May 2012 (CDT)
As for the image quality, leave that to me, I'll soon upload a translated and enhanced version of File:Sword_Art_Online_Vol_07_-002-003.jpg. You'll see the quality improved.
[Copy/Paste from Carj's talk page] I actually wanted to do 'A Murder Case in the Area' back in March, but a certain thing made me switched to 'Caliber' instead. Now my focus is to see the completion of volume 9, however, as chapter 1 alone has more pages (214 pages) than the first three chapters combine (178 pages), which I spent 2 months to work on, when it finished, it's most likely that volume 10 would have already been released and I'd prefer to continue working on Alicization more. So, I don't think I could work on volume 8 in a foreseeable future. I will do ME7 sometimes later for the change of pace though (unless Pryun wants to take over, but he's super busy atm). -- [[User:BeginnerXP|BeginnerXP]] - [[User_talk:BeginnerXP|Talk]] 07:51, 23 May 2012 (CDT)

Thank you very much for your feedback. and don't worry, i am definitely not offended, but rather grateful for your helpful suggestions.

First off, I will keep in mind what you said about keeping the script easy to understand from now on. Thanks for the tip, as I had not fully realized that fact and would have caused a great deal of confusion in my attempts to localize content for native English speakers. English may be my primary language, but it was not my first, so i completely understand.

As for the usage of the word warmth, i feel it would be a good fit for lack of a more appropriate synonym for 'temperature'. I have not read the original text(and I probably never will as i am not very proficient in Japanese), so I try to infer the general meaning, and I don't think warmth really detracts from the overall message too much. It's just that the word 'temperature' is a bit awkward in the text. :/

Quantum Light...oh, well this is embarrassing, i had not known that this was actually a company. Haha, my mistake. Sorry about the confusion. It just felt a bit awkward/out of place, but I guess I just made it worse, lol.

Ah, the eyes part. That one stumped me for a good few minutes. I interpreted 'rounded' eyes as when the corners of the eyes round out, like in anime(oh, you don't need to worry about my comprehension of Japanese culture/jokes, I've learned much from watching my fair share of anime, lol), giving off a 'softer' appearance, but if the true intent was to have widened eyes, as in the eyes widening into a round shape, then i see no problem with that either.

"S......Sorry that I laughed. But...... could it be, that was what ''troubled'' Kirito-kun until now?" Hmm, yes, i think that fits very well.
Can we afford to wait? What if it gets taken down as well? How about just slapping a spoiler notification at the top of the page and leaving the choice to the viewers. But it's not like I can really translate it. A machine/google translation is what I can do at best. Would that be good enough? Ahh, thanks. That's a load of worry off my shoulders. I had the same opinion about google translate. I know it might be good at translating a few words or a phrase but the longer the text the more the mistakes. In fact, I tried looking at CotM SS through it and it was shock full of them. I was only going to ask for his help about deleting chapter 16.5 of Indonesian version of SAO... and about if someone want the English or Indonesian version of that chapter to contact me, just in case; of which I doubt. But since I'm using opera mini at that moment, I went for section edit instead of page edit so that my phone won't freeze. And the rest is history...and a ridiculous one that is. Sorry for the event, I'll just go wandering im the inter-dimensional space around the crew quarter or go inside a turtle shell for a while now, after leaving a self-note for myself; just in case. *sniff* Now I can't face Vaelis again...-/-[[User:User753|User753]]-[[User talk:User753|Talk]]- 10:46, 29 July 2012 (CDT)

I'm glad you asked me. I'll do it. Also, I think you should group all of your SAO talk sections (on this page) under SAO heading. More organized that way. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User_talk:Zero2001|Talk]] - 09:33, 8 August 2012 (CDT)
I see. Feel free to ask me for replacement jobs from now on. I'm experienced with Foxreplace so I know how to implement the url inclusion and exclusion rules properly. == Double Dashes ==

Ah, sorry about that &ndash; I didn't realize they were preserved from the source. Dashes are often a good way to fix run-on sentences without breaking them up (basically a higher-order comma) but if that's the story I won't mess with them. I thought it was odd that they were doubled, guess now I know why.
Is it okay to replace the ones I added with a conventional single-emdash (US&mdash;style) or spaced endash (UK &ndash; style), or should I just remove them entirely?
[[User:Penguins|Penguins]] ([[User talk:Penguins|talk]]) 09:33, 16 August 2012 (CDT)

I understand why you're being picky and I'd probably feel the same way in your shoes. I'm removing my dashes now and I'll avoid adding any more. [[User:Penguins|Penguins]] ([[User talk:Penguins|talk]]) 13:01, 16 August 2012 (CDT)

== Misc. messages ==

It's fine. I'm a big fan of SAO and I already happened to have my own scanner anyway, so I thought I might as well help a little by scanning the images. Admittedly, it hurt a little to break down the book (I'm a big book-lover), but it was worth it. As for where I ordered the book, I got it from cdjapan at 690 Yen (the shipping cost was 1200 Yen, for a total of 1890) with EMS shipping. (Of course, it has other shipping methods that charge less like SAL at 500 yen for shipping.) Here's the link if you're interested, but you'd better hurry, it's almost out of stock: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=NEOBK-1347729

And thanks for informing about the account thing, that clears things up. Guess I'm going to have to get out of my shell and start making a lot of posts. (Hopefully I can find enough random discussions to post in at once...) --[[User:Eternal Dreamer|Eternal Dreamer]] ([[User talk:Eternal Dreamer|talk]]) 10:49, 20 October 2012 (CDT)

The book was packaged very nicely with bubblewrap in a small box and arrived where I live (province of Quebec in Canada) in virtually mint condition in just under a week. However, something to keep in mind: I used EMS, which is a FAST shipping service, while slower ones like SAL can take up to two weeks or more. Also, I chose EMS because it tracks the shipping of the package, unlike other shipping services. There is a FAQ for shipping on cdjapan, I suggest you look at it if you want more info.

I've just applied for the translator group, but in the meantime I'm looking everywhere for good places where I can post. (I've already done 5 of the posts I need, so I just need to do 5 more.) Thanks for the advice, I'll try looking in the non-LN section. --[[User:Eternal Dreamer|Eternal Dreamer]] ([[User talk:Eternal Dreamer|talk]]) 11:37, 20 October 2012 (CDT)

Hey again Darkoneko,

I've managed to confirm that the grids disappearing is a bug, caused by using border-collapse, rowspan, and colspan:

[https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244135]

This cannot be fixed no matter what styling we do. We'll have to come with workarounds, as in the CSS I've indicated at [[Template:Clannad:ScriptChart]]. This means the Haruhi timeline table will need to be redone in the future.

Speaking of which, do you know how to merge some of those cells using colspan and rowspan so that each row lines up perfectly? So for example, all those empty cells should be merged together somehow but at the same time, it should be possible to preserve the way the text is all lined up. Suggestions?

--[[User:Velocity7|velocity7]]
:hmmmm I'm not sure to understand what you mean by row lined up perfectly ? it that about their width ?
I can put link or credit to your web site. If I can what I need to know what need to put in wikia. I've been reading the site translation. I like the novel better than the Anime. They seem to drop thing and move event around.
I would like to help in traslation of the novel, but don't have digital source and would have to use google translation. My under standing it doesn't do to well. What little I have used the translator, I've had some problems.

I am not sure if Hayashi wasnt as bad as him, since he didnt went for a higher up for help or mediation, but acted all high mighty on his own only in converse with another translator and used deletion as his first choice to act - for me this is more destroying to the wiki (which is all about editing) than edits and he has still his rights, what I see as a risk, because who knows when he goes again on rage and is deleting more of the wiki... - (but at the same time I also know how annoying Zero can be, but I think an infinite block could maybe be too long... --[[User:Darklor|Darklor]] ([[User talk:Darklor|talk]]) 10:28, 11 November 2012 (CST)

I am not really on his side, because he propacated things I didnt really think necessary, and even things I never liked, but one the other side I think its nice to have one around who has an understanding of the wiki workings and it seemed some even liked his new navbar. Also I dont see really a thing he did wrong, which would require a ''lifelong'' block. Both sides had an attitudes problem and no one did communicate with the higher ups to clear the problem. I even think that Hayashi overreacted. He didnt even tried another method or asked for help or consulted a higher ranked member before he acted. I even think he damaged the wiki more with his action than any editor could do and has still the rights to damage it even more, which I dont really like because I fear for the wiki.
Are you going to block other users like how you did me? These things happen. It's useless to blame another, especially when the only thing they did was ask questions or give their own point of view and/or asked for feedback. BTW, don't bother blocking this IP. I'm talking here via a proxy site. And I don't intend to cause any problems or talk further. ''I'll prove my worth to you in my own way.'' You know, you could have just demoted me from my position as editor rather than outright blocking me. It's not like I was a vandal or a flammer. If you want to talk (not that I think you will, but just in case), contact me via PM on the forum. Zero2001, please do not drag my issue into this, I have no desire to see anyone getting blocked over my own selfishness, if anyone is deserved to be blocked, it was myself and I would accept the decision from the higher ups without complaint. People involved in my case are valueable assets of B-T, they followed what they think is right, it was my own mistake to host my works here when I can't stand anyone touching it, please do not blame anyone but me. -- [[User:BeginnerXP|BeginnerXP]] ([[User_talk:BeginnerXP|Talk]]) 05:32, 2 December 2012 (CST)
I think you're misunderstanding something. I don't blame anyone, though I am a little bothered by your actions (is it possible for the DreadfulDecoding versions to be direct linked, as with [[Kikou Shoujo wa Kizutsukanai|UMD]]? At least until they are re-translated here). I just don't want anyone blocked like I was. That's why I spoke, before what happened to me ended up happening to anyone else. Well, this is my last post here. If you have any further messages for me, please send me a PM. [[User:Zero2001|Zero2001]] - [[User Talk:Zero2001|Talk]] 05:37, 2 December 2012 (CST)
Random comment here: blocking BeginnerXP actually would be wise, 'cause cancer called inanity is obviously eating B-T from the inside.
