Hello Venis, thanks for your translations, you've really made some progress in the few weeks you've been around. Just some points of discussion on the project conventions (relevant to your recent post on Takoyakiinator talk page): I believe there is no actual requirement that translators list themselves in the "project staff" section, their name next to the chapter on the registration page is the only thing required. Also, the "2 week" rule is designed to remove people that have gone MIA and no longer come around BT. As such, the translator only has to reply that they are still working on it within two weeks to preserve their registration; they do not need to finish their translation within two weeks. Of course, you can always politely ask if they mind you taking over their translations; often times the translator will reply that they do not mind. Just one question: In Volume 5 Chapter 2 Part 10, it was stated that Jibril killed 19 giants with others and one herself. She also helped to take down three "Fairies" and killed one herself. So I would like to know if it is a mistranslation, because the Fairies have lower rank in the Exceeds than the Elves ([https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Game_No_Life#The_Ranking_of_the_16_Races Reference]) and they hung the heads of the Fairies on the humongous tree. So I would like to ask, if they were really Fairies or if it is another race like the Dragonia (which I would believe more likely). :Well, assuming there isn't a mistake on the translation, I would say that, as has been mentioned, Exceed ranking goes according to magic affinity. That means that "how hard it is to kill something" does not necessarily align with the ranking. Perhaps (assuming that Fairies are ranked 8th) they are an opponent more formidable than other races, due to some special characteristic. I mean, considering how Werebeasts can actually physically surpass the corresponding physical capabilities of the last and most powerful Flugel ever made, while standing on a mere 14th rank, a whole 8 ranks below, I believe that a race that is even more aligned to magical properties than elves (being ranked lower because of lack of spell combinations, while keeping raw force perhaps, as is implied by their name corresponding to pure magical beings in our world) actually CAN be made to be a formidable opponent.

Just fyi, I'm 99% sure the only reason Kagerou days hasn't been updated to full project is because none of the wiki admins have noticed, or had the free time to add it to the sidebar. Once 1 volume is complete, which is true here, there aren't many reasons why it wouldn't be upgraded; and none of those few would apply here. So I don't think you need to be paranoid (re your user page). Just fyi, I'm 99% sure the only reason Kagerou days hasn't been updated to full project is because none of the wiki admins have noticed, or had the free time to add it to the sidebar. Once 1 volume is complete, which is true here, there aren't many reasons why it wouldn't be upgraded; and none of those few would apply here. So I don't think you need to be paranoid (re your user page). == Story Synopsis ==

Shintaro Kisaragi is an 18-year old hikiNEET who hasn't left his room in two years, engrossing himself with his computer and the internet. However, on August 15, due to the messing about of the cyber girl Ene, who lives inside his computer, Shintaro spills soda on his computer keyboard and is forced to buy a new one. However due to the fact that this takes place during the Obon festival, none of the stores will deliver until the 17th, forcing him to go outside. Shintaro goes to the department store, where a group of criminals break in and hold the people inside hostage for ransom. There, he comes in contact with a group of teenagers calling themselves the "Mekakushi Dan", who stop the robbery with their mysterious eye powers and force Shintaro into joining their group.<br />

Before this occurs, Shintaro's younger sister, Momo Kisaragi, is a popular idol who has the ability to attract people's attention. This is due to the "Drawing Eyes" ability, which she cannot control and causes people to look at her wherever she goes. One day, while fleeing from a horde of fans, she meets the ''Mekakushi Dan'' leader, Tsubomi Kido, who invites Momo to join, which she does. While meeting the first four members of the ''Mekakushi Dan'', Mary trips and gets Momo's phone wet, and they all go to the department store to buy a new phone for Momo. Kido uses her ability to keep people from staring at Momo, but while in the store, they find that Shintaro is there at the same time. The terrorists break in and take all the shoppers hostage, but Kido, Momo, Mary, and Kano are invisible and thus do not get caught. They work together to stop the heist, though Shintaro passes out, and they bring him to their hideout and induct him and Ene as members once the former awakens. They all go to the amusement park and have fun afterwards.

== Story Synopsis ==

Shintaro Kisaragi is an 18-year old hikiNEET who hasn't left his room in two years, engrossing himself with his computer and the internet. However, on August 15, due to the messing about of the cyber girl Ene, who lives inside his computer, Shintaro spills soda on his computer keyboard and is forced to buy a new one. However due to the fact that this takes place during the Obon festival, none of the stores will deliver until the 17th, forcing him to go outside. Shintaro goes to the department store, where a group of criminals break in and hold the people inside hostage for ransom. There, he comes in contact with a group of teenagers calling themselves the "Mekakushi Dan", who stop the robbery with their mysterious eye powers and force Shintaro into joining their group.<br />

Before this occurs, Shintaro's younger sister, Momo Kisaragi, is a popular idol who has the ability to attract people's attention. This is due to the "Drawing Eyes" ability, which she cannot control and causes people to look at her wherever she goes. One day, while fleeing from a horde of fans, she meets the ''Mekakushi Dan'' leader, Tsubomi Kido, who invites Momo to join, which she does. While meeting the first four members of the ''Mekakushi Dan'', Mary trips and gets Momo's phone wet, and they all go to the department store to buy a new phone for Momo. Kido uses her ability to keep people from staring at Momo, but while in the store, they find that Shintaro is there at the same time. The terrorists break in and take all the shoppers hostage, but Kido, Momo, Mary, and Kano are invisible and thus do not get caught. They work together to stop the heist, though Shintaro passes out, and they bring him to their hideout and induct him and Ene as members once the former awakens. They all go to the amusement park and have fun afterwards.

Lord and God are only capitalized for God from the Bible, so there is no need to capitalize phrases like "my lord" or "abc is a god" though "Lord XYZ" would need to be capitalized since it's a term of address. Similarly, king should only be capitalized when it is a specific title, such as "King Kusanagi." Stuff like "as a king you should blah blah blah..." or "the king jumped up and down" should not be capitalized. It does get a bit subtle with statements like "George V is one of the kings of Britain" where "kings" is being used as a general noun, versus "George V is King of Britain" where "King of Britain" is a specific title. Hello, I've seen an edit you've made recently, and I want to confirm this, so I won't make this mistake myself. In this recent edit, "Though, I kind of doubt it." is changed back to "Though I kind of doubt it." 'Though', as I've learnt, can be used either as a conjunction or an adverb. When it functions as a conjunction, it should be connected to the previous sentence with a comma, for example: "I know what you mean, though I'm skeptical of the usage"; when it functions as an adverb, a comma after 'though' should be added like any other adverb, for example: "Though, I'm skeptical of the usage" or "I'm skeptical of the usage, though", in which the latter seems more common. In your edit, I believe you want the 'though' in your sentence to function as a conjunction instead of an adverb; however, when the sentence is not connected to the previous sentence (where I see it's rather difficult to do so), it becomes a fragmented sentence. Fragments can stand in modern writings, but I believe refraining from fragments and aiming for complete sentences are what one should pursue.

:Shizuka actually calls Godou "Onii-chan." Yeah, Volume 1 has a fair number of standardization issues because it had multiple translators, it was the first volume translated (fewer standards/conventions established), and it was translated from Chinese (so honorifics come from guesswork) with little (if any) crosschecking with the JP. I didn't start referencing the JP version until V3 so there might be some of those issues in V2 as well. Please change it to Onii-chan when Shizuka is addressing Godou.

:Since you're starting from the beginning, could you help edit all the double hyphens(--) to dashes(—)? Dashes should have no spaces before or after. The only exceptions are situations like: "Abcd xyz. —Kjlm..." where the dash follows a period, exclamation mark or question mark (which I don't think occurs very often in Campione anyway).

:Also, there's one language quirk that needs to be fixed. In eastern languages, one would often name the person you are talking to in a 3rd person manner, but that should be eliminated in English. Example: "I am surprised by Onii-chan's earnest diligence." --> "I am surprised by your earnest diligence, Onii-chan."

Ah, I apologize for the commotion about the tabs. On the raw, there were slightly larger spaces between some of the furigana-style words on the side (i'm not really sure what to to call them...) On the chinese version that I am translating from, there are also slightly larger spaces between some words. After googling it, I've actually fixed the spacing by using the '& nbsp;' code. And using lot of them. It looks really messy in the editing view, but it's okay on the actual page view.

I personally think that it looks better with this kind of spacing, but if you feel that it's wrong to add them, then feel free to undo my edit :)

For the fourth line, they're talking about the same person. "He" is the guy that Marill isn't allowed to talking about and "She" is Marill herself.

Thanks for pointing out, but even after going through the raws, the author did not mention whether she was the surviving descendant or direct descendant. It only mention '''the descendant'''. So we can only assume that she was the only direct(Ref Volume 3) and surviving (she was the only one mentioned currently) descendant. However, if I am not mistaken, in V3 mentioned that the two families fight was passed down through the generations, so maybe she is the reincarnation. If you think the current sentence feel a little awkward, you can edit it(I think it is a little, like it is hanging.) since nothing was mention at all.
