In File 2: The Dark Tunnel, there's a part that doesn't make much sense:
:"She could only see the woman’s guess, that’s why Haruka guessed she was a female, and because she was wearing a gray suit, Haruka also guessed that she was very young."

So I was wondering if anyone knew what could replace the first "guess".

I figured out the sentence. Ended up going to [http://community.livejournal.com/pd_yakumo/ the community on lj] and clicking on the user who originally translated. Found out they got it from a [http://comic.92wy.com/go/info_3203.htm Chinese fan translation site] and since I don't understand Chinese, did Google Translate. Finally figured out which volume and chapter I wanted and had to go through manually to find the bit I wanted (literally as it didn't translate the chapters).

yea the red/white is the problem in my opinion but i haven't actually read it so im not sure how bothersome it could get, i suggest you that just go normal, white background black text since we all r used to those colors, or you could try a yellowish background if u wanna make it different, remember that you will be looking at the screen for hours maybe, when choosing colors try not pick flashy colors since that makes the eyes tired more easily [[User:Carj|Carj]] 00:52, 2 October 2011 (CDT)

Just wondering, is the translation on hold? There haven't been any new chapters for a while and I havent seen it mentioned on the livejournal since march.

Lacking translation skills, novice translators are encouraged to not register. If you can put together a good translation anyway :
Feel free to translate them chapter by chapter. When done, register yourself as translator for that chapter via the series main page.
Makes is much easier to approve/disapprove.
Ask for the volumes in the forum or get them of another site(Crazy cake <---example).

Can someone please tell me if there is romance between the main characters? (I've read that the anime doesn't have romance; so, I wanted to know if the light novel has romance...)

== Volumes 9 & 10 ==
I've discovered a translator currently working on volumes 9 & 10(aka: "Akumu no sumu ie" or "The House in Which Nightmares Dwell"). Volume 9 is finished and the First chapter of volume 10(aka: Chapter 8), is currently in progress with 4 parts completed. Although there haven't been any updates since December 2014, so I don't know when the translator will continue and finish volume 10. Also, there are obviously spoilers for volumes 1-8 in volumes 9 & 10, so I obviously recommend reading them beforehand. Sadly, a few volumes of the LN aren't fully translated yet, so if you wish to catch up here are the Manga/Anime equivalents which are translated and available elsewhere:
* LN Volume 3 = Manga Volume 3 = Anime Episodes 7-10
* LN Volume 6 = Manga Volumes 8-9 = Anime Episodes 22-25
* LN Volume 8 = Manga Volume 12
With that you should be able to read the equivalent of volumes 1-8 and be ready to read volumes 9 & 10. Obviously there are some things glossed over in the Manga and Anime, but it's better than jumping into volumes 9 & 10 with nothing.
