That's what her voice is like now.

What was the original, something like 隣の池? It is not necessarily the neighbor's they're talking about, but a pond in the neighborhood/close by.

Not a big issue but:

Im not sure what we are trying to say here. Is it a can of dark tinted spray, or tanning spray or is it supposed to be a dark spray paint?

:You would use a tinting spray on hair. Does the same job as paint on walls, just that a tint is temporary, while paint is (generally) permanent.

Aw thanks! Now it only needs to be integrated in the text itself. Maybe like the romanji and the better (the 2nd?) english version next to each other. Or maybe only the translated version and the rest in the translation notes?

The first poem was indeed 61. However, MacCauley's translation wasn't that good; I went after it with Wiktionary and Google Translate and came up with something that at least follows the spirit of the original. If you want my notes I'll post them. And if no one complains (and they won't, there's a bit of an echo in here) I'll just carry on with the rest.

What is the original text? This need to be sorted as soon as possible, even if it's just writing the romanised version of the Japanese text. Just from reading the english, it looks like it should read something like ''Tsuruya-san's smart, and wouldn't just...'' At least it makes sense, even if it's wrong.

Also the last word (anyways) should be '''anyway'''. He's only going to tell her once.

Kyon should be referring to the meeting on the Saturday morning when they met for the first time in front of the station.

If anyone wants to join the Literature Club, Nagato can also finally display her airs as a senior, that isn't too bad. But again, she is after all an alien humanoid interface that has to read over three hundred Earth books per year. Even if she had juniors, it is difficult to imagine that they feel happy talking to Nagato with her transparent protective layer. But compared to looking for a book you want to read alone, it is still better to have a buddy to exchange books with. One can then exchange their newly-bought books with the other and would be much more convenient. After all I do not have the ability to critique or discuss the contents of the book after finishing it, so even though I borrowed books from her before, I had never lent her any. I might as well find some day to give her a library card as a gift or something.

Is this translated correctly? Kyon already gave Nagato a library card way back in volume 1 during the very first City Wide Search. Why would he be thinking about getting her another one?

The IDSE has demonstrated the concept of attaching names to things, especially itself, in the first sentence here. Could the last sentence come to "we did not have the concept attached to a name" or "we did not have a name attached to the concept?" Or am I mistaken, and what they're proud of isn't attaching a name to what they've previously called a Macrospatial Quantum Cosmic Existence but attaching a name to anything at all?
