The barrage Female Knight had used on me was now pouring towards Ren. Those countless defense penetrating attacks are not hits that can be accumulated. The chill going down my spine tells the story.

"Hero of the Sword, you are weak. For that reason, become stronger by accepting your weakness. People lost won't come back. But, it's fine if you atone for your sins from here on. I'll also lend as much strength as I can." (Female Knight)

So informed Female Knight as she returned her sword to its sheath.

She tried to look cool, but it appears not much damage was actually dealt. Though rotten, he's still a hero, and he has two types of the Curse Series too. It was probably a considerably close fight even for Female Knight. For argument's sake, wouldn't she have been split in half if she'd received even one of Ren's attacks?

Also, you're trying to look cool, but if the people, King, or Queen want the death penalty, then there's no meaning. Atoning for your sins is good and all, but your life might be taken for recompensation. Well, I'm fine with that though.

Immediately afterwards, Ren swoons and collapses. Ooh, he collapsed like in anime.

"Don't try to run from the sins you've committed. I'll stand in your way every time you try to run away." (Female Knight)

"U..." (Ren)

In his collapsed state, tears are shed from Ren's eyes. Is he unconscious? Other than that, he did not even twitch. Then, the great sword returned to normal. The ominous look is also gone.

"Did you take care of him?" (Naofumi)

"Don't say it like I finished him off!" (Female Knight)

Female Knight glared at me. Therefore I said it.

"To strike at the mind, you're pretty skilled." (Naofumi)

"What an unpleasant way to put it..." (Female Knight)

He actually wasn't defeated physically, after all.

"Iwatani-dono has not run away from his own crimes." (Female Knight)

"Are you praising me?" (Naofumi)

"No! Without running, you continue to knowingly add to your crimes. Even more than the Hero of the Sword, a difficult nature." (Female Knight)

"I don't know." (Naofumi)

Female Knight let out a wholehearted sigh.

"Why is someone like this is saving everybody...Iwatani-dono is the biggest enigma to me; I've no confidence that you can be rehabilitated." (Female Knight)

"Rehabilitate? For what?" (Naofumi)

"...I can completely understand Raphtalia's hardships. Sorry Raphtalia, your request doesn't seem possible to fulfill..." (Female Knight)

Raphtalia, what did you request from this straight lace? Well whatever. Probably nothing good would come even if I asked.

"Well then, since it seems Ren has been defeated, I'll uphold the promise. His management will be left to you." (Naofumi)

"What do you mean promise? You just set me up!" (Female Knight)

"Hahaha." (Naofumi)

"Don't laugh!" (Female Knight)

Meanwhile, Atla finally regained consciousness. Honestly, what an unreliable fellow. Saying you want to become my shield is just a dream within a dream.

"Fuee...what are we doing from here?" (Rishia)

Rishia asked while looking at the rotten sea that was once burnt ground.

"Of course, we're escaping." (Naofumi)

Possibly the fruit of the Old Lady's training, Rishia took the initiative and is defeating the monsters. Her weapons are a throwing knife attached to a short sword and a whip.

While throwing the knife, the whip entangles her opponents, and as the knife lands, the opponents are drawn in and skewered by the short sword.

Peerless Transformation style, Binding Thrust, is what the attack seems to be called.

Though the name being too simple could come off as chuunibyou, everything else I value highly.

Not only that, it is a fast technique. As expected of the Old Lady's said favorite area of expertise.

Peerless Transformation, as expected from such an exaggerated name, seems painful just from seeing it. Mixing that technique with defense piercing seems formidable.

If I recall correctly, I heard Rishia was taught everything from the style. Then that means she could fight with weapons besides the current ones I suppose.

On a side note, Rishia's current level is 70. The fact that her strength did not match her status honestly surprised me quite a bit. How should I put it, "Who is this girl?", is the feeling I get.

Just guessing, but if Itsuki saw the current Rishia, it feels like he'd say, "Please come back." Well, Itsuki is maintaining a perfect hiding in Zeltbur with a broken mind though. Just stay like this in perfect hiding until the world becomes peaceful.

"Is that so? Though I can't really tell the difference myself..." (Rishia)

By the way, Rishia is currently wearing the Firo costume. Quickly taking out the outfit after returning was surprising.

I guess spiritual support was needed. Even when stronger, the base does not change, it seems.

Maybe if Itsuki put on the Firo costume, he could return to normal. No, no....

Tsun. Atla faced the Razorback's forehead, jumped, and poked it. From just that...the Razorback revealed the whites of its eyes and foamed at its mouth as it fell over. Is it dead?

...I've experienced a new ability. It's almost like an assassination technique or something. Why is it scarier than defeating it normally, I wonder?

Geniuses are amazing, huh? Even far stronger than Rishia and female knight, it appears. Rather, even barehanded. Thinking carefully, she wasn't given a weapon. No, she was given a sword at first, but seems she didn't use it.

The average level of the monsters is...approximately 40, huh? This'll be smooth sailing.

"Kyua!" (Gaelion)

Just like how Firo does it, Gaelion came and threw a live Razorbaby, a miniature Razorback, into his mouth and chewed. There's blood at the edge of his mouth-.... Yeah. They're both carnivores, but Firo might be better. That side's a bird, so there's no blood. Though I don't know which would look better during times when using their claws to tear apart flesh to stuff their cheeks with.

"Somehow-...I'm kinda plain?" (Taniko)

After using magic in battle earlier, Taniko was feeling down. The mysterious style, Peerless Transformation style and the genius Hakuko tribe's Atla. Certainly against weak monsters it feels like her power is lacking, but I think Taniko is also suitable. Like magic, or maybe Gaelion.

"Don't mind it. I'm pretty much just watching." (Naofumi)

The need for me to tank was not necessary, becoming reversed. Was there meaning in coming? For now, I just use Hate Reaction to lure monsters, while focusing on strengthening.

Before long, we flew deep into the mountains and a part dragon monster came out. Ah, dragons inhabited remote regions if I recall correctly. Because of Fitoria, the dragon series could not be released even if raw materials were put in. Well it'll grow along with Gaelion, so I guess it wasn't pointless.

As expected my turn came, pinning down the monster. And in that opening, one of the others attacked it. Afterwards, the weakened monsters are each exterminated one by one.

I turn to look at Gaelion during that time. Taniko was there so he stayed hidden, but I needed to talk to the father side. If the Dragon Emperor were to appear here, it'd probably be difficult too.

"Oh yeah, Iwatani-dono..." (Female Knight)

Looking for a chance, female knight asked me a question.

"What?" (Naofumi)

"I heard you've attached weird nicknames to us in your head." (Female Knight)

"Oh. That talk, huh? Let's see, I just call fellows by their image if they don't say their name in front of me." (Naofumi)

Alps was at first named Sis-con, like an Ateuma, so Ateuma. Recently, he's matched Rishia in the plainness position, so something new might come.

"By the way, Rishia. You are 'Itsuki groupie'." (Naofumi)

I calculated after I had her remove the Firo costume, and her stats have come up to half of Raphtalia's stats the last time I saw them. Before the difference was one third, so I am just speculating, but at this rate of growth, Raphtalia would be overtaken by level 75. Speaking of which, the Old Lady did mention before....

"This child is a talent found once every hundred years-!" (Old Lady)

Said something like that. Did the Old Lady foresee this? Rapid growth from level 70... I'd think even for late blooming great talents, there should be a limit.

By the way, Rishia was tossed away by Itsuki, becoming my subordinate at 68.

Anyways, from now on I must observe Rishia, I guess.

It was enclosed by stone walls and iron grills; a plain isolation cell with one bed and a bathroom.

Neither handcuffs nor fetters were attached on him, but all his personal belongings were confiscated.

Of course, even the two Sword Devices which were hung to his waist. A stolen knife, a tool kit and even the pochette which he got back from the cat were seized.

Though he did not know the exact time, as he saw light coming in through the skylight, Lux guessed it was probably the time of breakfast.

“What a bummer! Even though a work reservation was made today…”

With a sigh, when he carefully though about it, he noticed that it wasn’t the time for that.

“I mean, my real identity was also completely exposed…”

Lux’s characteristic –– his silver hair inherited from the Old Empire’s royal family.

And, the black collar which showed the “criminal” who received amnesty from the new royal family.

With that much evidence gathered, his identity had probably been already specified.

The Old Empire Acadia which had laid out tyranny for a long time, was destroyed by a coup d’état.

It was about five years ago that Lux who was a survivor of the old imperial family was released by the amnesty of the New Kingdom Atismata––, and signed a contract with the condition of “undertaking miscellaneous affairs of any people”.

The contents of the miscellaneous affairs varied from domestic servant, bar waiter, carpenter and blacksmith to field work.

Nevertheless, the girl’s presence was fearfully strong.

She was clad in fearless, strong and absolute self-confidence which did not let anyone get closer.

It was a girl who gave the impression of having both sweetness and heat just like an ignited cake containing plenty of alcohol.

“Fufufu” that girl suddenly laughed in a low voice.

“Thank you for the help last night. Incidentally, it was a wonderful pick-up line. To the extent that I was unintentionally charmed.”

This was the academy of Drag-Knights officer candidates managed by the New Kingdom Atismata.

It was a place which trained the so-called officer –– high-rank persons even among the government officials including military and civil officials, and moreover speaking in detail––

“An academy which trained humans engaged in Drag-Rides, huh…?”

“You can say that.”

At Lux’s question, Principal Relie nodded with a smile.

Although the Principal, she was still young.

She was probably in her late twenties or so. Even if one said teacher, the woman of allowable looks called herself Relie Aingram.

She herself was also the daughter of a financial group which held a market directly associated with the nation, in other words one of the native cased young ladies.

And –– she was one of the few acquaintances of Lux who was from the former imperial family.

Both the Drag-Ride and the Sword Device were weapons which were used as a pair.

Drag-Rides were usually enshrined to a place called “hangar” in various places; by pulling out the Sword Device from the scabbard and pushing a button in the grip, one could transfer –– summon the matching Machine Dragon.

With weapons other than Drag-Rides, such a thing was not possible.

It was a possible feat precisely because there were the Mithril Dite, metal which turned into light and enabled the metastasis of the space, and the Force Core, a nuclear stone which was the source of power of a Machine Dragon.

The structure of the transfer itself was not yet clarified.

That the Drag-Rides were ancient weapons excavated from the ruins, and that the investigation of the ruins themselves was not readily progressing due to certain circumstances was the main cause.

But even so, the power which the Drag-Ride held hid a too extraordinary power to refrain from use by the reason “the technology cannot finish clarifying it”.

Therefore, the competition on the survey (research?) about the structure and even the principle clarification of the Drag-Rides was carried out intensely in each nation.

“It has been more than ten years since the Drag-Rides have been discovered from the ruins. Their use has almost been prohibited to us women, due to the trend and the system of the androcracy[1] that the Old Empire laid. But––”

As Relie cut her words, Lizsharte who was standing beside Lux suddenly opened her mouth.

“With the coup d’état five years ago, that perception completely changes after what the New Kingdom established. Aside from the exercise aptitude to use for the handling, the data reported that the compatibility aptitude of the airframe control of women was far above, and thereafter, they established a special training organization, and concentrated their efforts on that upbringing in order to prepare Drag-Knight officers who won’t lose to those other countries–– something like that.”

That question was going through Lux’s mind.

Lux looked down while he tried not to look at the naked girls that were standing there shocked at the other side of the steam.

Underneath Lux who was inside the hot water with his clothes on was a girl who made a laugh.

The shadow belonging to a small build boy was chasing after the cat with all his might.

The sprint started from the third district that is located to the west of the town shaped in a cross.

The boy, who already ran a distance which normally made you think whether you should take a cargo, had already ran across a single town, was already at his limit in terms of exhaustion.

Even so, the silver haired boy with a choker continued to run.

The girl from the liquor store who gladly allowed Lux who didn’t have a place to sleep to stay over last night.

When he saw her again, the small bag that she was carrying had been taken by a cat nearby all of a sudden.

Several loud screams echoed throughout the bath.

“I-I’m sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorry!”

Bath tub, chair, soap. Various things were thrown out, and Lux retreated towards the washing place.

“Yes, my lord. But, just in case please be careful. Sharis.”

The blue-haired girl called Sharis and the two girls who were standing still on both her sides.

These three girls simultaneously unsheathed their swords.

With a dark gray blade, a sword on which a shining silver line floated –– sword devices.

“No way!?”

When Lux opened his eyes wide in surprise, he heard Sharis’ voice.

“––Come forth, Wing Dragon of the crest which is the symbol of power. Fly in accordance with my sword, <Wyvern>!”

At the same time, the space of the sword tip which Sharis swung shook and warped.

What gathered there at high speed were grains (particles?) of light.

Countless pale lights tinged with undulation formed one single entity.

“…!?”

What appeared was a mechanical dragon twice as big as a human.

A streamlined form where metals with an acute angle were connected lay innumerably on top of one another.


The wet luster was abominably beautiful like an embezzled famous sword.

“A Drag-Ride!? Why––”

Drag-Rides.

They were ancient weapons which were summoned by drawing sword devices used as a pair, mechanical armors, which copied legendary dragons, worn on one’s body and with which one acquired the war potential of thousand soldiers.

Seven Ruins were discovered in the world.

Those weapons which were excavated from there possessed power enough to overturn the war concept, which had been cultivated several hundreds of years in the past, in an instant.

Humans who wore those Drag-Rides and could master them were called Drag-Knights.

But, Drag-Rides were scarce and very expensive and only knights of the Kingdom and some influential persons could basically possess them.

''Why do these girls possess them––''

“Connection On.”

Sharis muttered, during the opportunity when Lux was dumbfounded.

The blue streamlined machine opened from within, and was unfolded to innumerable parts.

The parts went towards Sharis’ both arms, both legs, trunk and head, connected at high speed –– it was equipped.

The Drag-Ride covered its master’s body with non-stopped movements and changed into armor.


“Oh my, did you creep in here without even knowing where it is? But, it’s useless even if you are befuddled, Pervert-kun. Give up and make a Dogeza<ref> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogeza </ref> there. If you do so, I can get it over with about ten whiplashes.”

“Uh-huh. Peeping is a crime.”

“Yes, my Lord. Either way, you will be punished.”

At the words of Sharis who was the leader, the girl with a light tune, Tillfarr and the girl with a calm atmosphere, Nokuto agreed.

These two girls were also wearing other kinds of Drag-Rides on their bodies and took a stance of combat as well.

“…Ah, wait a minute!?”

''Isn’t this a very dangerous situation?''

Within a building like this –– no, in the first place, it wasn’t an equipment to use against a flesh-and-blood opponent!

“Haa!”

Sharis who wore <Wyvern> on her body kicked the floor and flew.

From the armor of both wings of legs and back, she sprayed wind wearing light.

With a single leap from the edge of the entrance of the building, she attacked Lux who was in the open ceiling of the second floor.

She greatly swung the arm covered with metal armor and suddenly struck it as she used it like a sword.

“Uwaaaaaaaah!?”

Lux abruptly turned sideways and dodged it.

Though he was able to evade it by a hairbreadth, the wooden handrail which was over there was smashed to pieces.

“Oops! Did I hold back the speed too much?”

“No! You use too much power! I’d have died though!?”

While putting a riposte to the surprised Sharis, Lux went down the stairs as he rolled over.

Then, the Drag-Ride for land battle which was at the entrance up to now. Tillfarr who equipped a jade green Drag-Ride –– <Wyrm> immediately blocked his way.

“Hyaffuuuuh. Uh oh, test, test<ref> says often when one makes a test of sound of a mike</ref>. Notification to Pervert-san there. As of now, your crime is light.”

“In a sense, I’m treated more severe than in an average punishment, though!?”

“It’s bad”, thought Lux while riposting.

The flight ability could not be fully used indoors; on the contrary, it became a hindrance to the movements.

That’s why Sharis’ flight general purpose Drag-Knight <Wyvern> was still good, but it was dangerous here.

The limbs covered with thick armors possessed a high mobility due to multiple variables frames and could let power likely to explode at any time swell.

After all, the land battle general-purpose Drag-Ride <Wyrm> was a Drag-Ride with property most suitable for close range combat.

“Well, anything is fine, so behave yourself. If you struggle strangely, it’ll be rather dangerous.”

“At this rate, I would rather be killed!?”

Lux put his feet on the handrail, and jumped down to the first floor without going down the stairs where the path was blocked.


However––,

“U-Uh-oh! I won’t let you pass here!”

Floating a confident smile, Tillfarr instantly stood in the way.

Together with the armor worn on her body, she made a side fall down centering on the handrail of the stairs and landed.

A Drag-Ride was not just a merely heavy and hard armor.

The kinematic performance of the installation part was also greatly strengthened by the energy brought from the Force Core which was the Drag-Ride’s power

“Haaah!”

The right arm of Tillfarr clad in that armor was swung downward.

“Kuh…!?”

<nowiki>*</nowiki>BANG*! With a crushing sound, the wooden floor was smashed and dust soared. There were a light shout and movement, but the power was very great.

While Lux shuddered at the performance of a Drag-Ride which he felt with his own body––.

“…Huh?”

Tillfarr wearing <Wyrm> looked at the floor where her fist was driven in.

Its disappeared.

The figure of Lux, in front of whom she displayed her power just now, and who should be surprised.


“Under the floor! Tillfarr!”

“Eh…?”

Sharis’ dignified voice overhead reached Lux who ran under the floor.

The blow which Tillfarr let out as intimidation.

He went through the hole which it made, escaped under the floor and was running.

“Mmm…”

When Tillfarr who was pointed out looked into the hole of the floor with a discontented face,

“Don’t chase him, Tillfarr.”

Sharis’ calm voice stopped Tillfarr.

“No matter how effective <Wyrm>’s maneuverability is, the bottom of the floor here is too narrow. If you destroy the dormitory any further, it’ll be a written apology. I won’t chase him anymore, either.”

“But, but! If we let him escape like this––”

“It’s all right. Nokuto has already moved. She won’t let him escape.”

While calming Tillfarr, Sharis let her gaze wander about at the surroundings.

“But, what is the meaning of this? He manages to hold on without equipment… Those movements. It was as if he saw through the special characteristics of our Drag-Rides in an instant––”

To the perplexity of the girl who was usually very confident, Tillfarr tilted her head to the side.


“Hmm? What is it? Sharis.”

“Silver hair and black collar. No…, don’t tell me that boy is––”

With a serious tone, she just coughed so.

“Uwaaaaaaaah!”

Escaping to the outside of the building from under the floor, Lux dashed on the road of the ground.

The <Wyvern> of Sharis and the <Wyrm> of Tillfarr.

Also the moment when he escaped from two general-purpose types Drag-Rides.

The third person –– the girl named Nokuto came chasing Lux.

Her orange Drag-Ride was a general purpose Drag-Ride called <Drake>.

Although it was a Drag-Ride equipped with special functions such as searching for the enemy, camouflage, support, assistance, restoration and the like, and its basic performance (ability) was somewhat lowered, its strength under a specific situation surpassed the other two.


Its special characteristic –– visually checking Lux even within the darkness by means of the goggles which were worn on her head, Nokuto accurately ran after him.

The view sensitivity which was provided through the goggles of the <Drake> could be immediately adjusted.

When Nokuto exposed her face which she covered with her hand so as to take aim with the Breath Gun again,

Before her eyes, fire was approaching.

It was firewood with fire that was a part of the bonfire. Lux which gripped one of it threw it aiming at Nokuto’s rear.

“Kuh…”

She swung the armored arm in a hurry and flipped the firewood.


With a Drag-Knight as opponent, ordinary attacks would not work; throwing of smoke screen would be better<ref> 目眩ましの投擲, TLC here again, please </ref>.

But, at that opportunity where Nokuto suddenly stopped, Lux reached up to the way near the main gate.

Exactly at that time, a girl wearing the same uniform as Nokuto and company walked as she slowly headed to the women’s dormitory from the main gate.

Since there was danger of involving the girl, she could no longer shoot with the Breath Gun.

While thinking so in the corner of her head, Nokuto was astonished.

“Why? It can’t be…”

No matter how much they were going easy on him, to succeed in escaping against three Drag-Knights without equipment––.

“Who is he? That boy––”

“Ok, with this, I somehow––”

Lux looked back behind and checked that Nokuto lowered her gun.

It would not be wise to escape as is though.

When the other side settled down, he would properly explained himself and apologize.

When he thought so, as he noticed before his eyes, the girl was there.

The breathing of Lux who was running away with all his power stopped for an instant.


It was a beautiful girl.

She had a slender and well-proportioned body, noble features and cold eyes.

Just like a perfect work of art, the girl, showing neither strain nor slack, was standing before Lux.

“You do not need to chase him. Since I will stop him.”

“Kurulucifer, san…”

The girl in front of him lightly raised her right hand called out to Nokuto behind.

To her movements which had not that much hesitation, Lux instinctively stopped.

“Haa, Haa… Um… Excuse me. I’m, errr––”

From the building behind, screams such as “pervert!” or “underwear thief!” could be heard small.

“Yes, I know.”

Looking at Lux who hurriedly tried to explain, the girl smiled.

“What a fairly pretty peeping tom, pervert and underwear thief, eh. He’s still a child.”

“Eh…!? …N-No…, I––”

While shaking, Lux was, just a little, irritated.

Certainly the girl in front of him has a grown-up atmosphere, but she should be about the same age as him.

And yet––.

“…I may not look like this, but I’m 17 years old. Well, I’m often told that my face looks childish, but––”


Forgotten that he was in a situation where he was cornered, Lux rebutted.

The fairylike girl suddenly showed a sad expression.

“…Is that so. But, I’m sorry. I don’t like it, but even with a child as opponent, I can’t overlook an offender.”

(C-Child, child, doesn’t she care about what someone told her…!?)

In a part totally unrelated to this turmoil, Lux inwardly decided further.

He understood that he, who suddenly plunged into the large public bath and could not make any excuses, was totally in the wrong.

But, be that as it may, there was the problem of pride.

Even though he might not like this, he intended to pile up (acquire) even the training of hand-to-hand combat as such.

In that case––.

''I will show her how much even that ‘child’ can do as such.''

Of course, he did not intend to attack her or even use attacks as intimidation from the start.

He would dodge her and escape outside with just mere footwork.

“…Haa!”

With such a scream, Lux began the bout.

In order to dodge the girl in front of him, he made a feint to the left, turned and went to the right.

The girl could not react. He overtook her.

So, about Ende. I originally named it a 'principality' so it wouldn't be confused with a 'duchy' in medieval times, but it is ruled by an 大公 'archduke' and not a monarch; so it's actually a sorta dukedom (like real-life Luxembourg, which is not ruled by a prince as in Monaco or Liechtenstein, but a Grand Duke) - I think they're related to the Arion Kingdom's bloodline. Okay I'm not good with military ranks, and new ranks keep popping up but my dictionary calls almost all of them officers, sometimes with a adjective in front of it. Anyway, I decided to post them here for now and how I'm currently translating them, so that translators/editors can give their input. Maybe somebody knows a good English equivalent, so that we can determine an official translation. * 将軍 - 100% sure 'shogun' is the highest rank and means 'general'; just added this to top the list. Rogue Saian is one of Mephius' 12 Generals. Oubary is also a general but I'm not sure if he's one of 'the twelve', as they seem to be special.

* 士官 - officer, but the term is used in combination; like 翼竜士官 'winged dragon officer' is a rank Rogue Saian ''also'' holds. Meaning he's both officer and general...

* 将校 - my dictionary: 'commissioned officer'; Japanese wikipedia says it's a rank higher than sublieutenant (so is it a lieutenant?), but it's no longer an official term

* 下士官 Lit. 'low officer'; dict.: 'non-commissioned officer'. In Edo-Japan this was a term for one who was enlisted as an officer, but not of noble birth.

:* I have no qualms on the current translations for 将校 and 下士官. I still think Winged Dragon Officers are at the very least, worthy of the title of 'Commander' rather than Officer, as they are "capable of taking command of whole fleets." Regarding why Saian holds both titles, it could be possible that 将軍 denotes a rank only for controlling ground forces, while 翼竜士官 is a title denoting command of solely aerial forces. Likewise, I don't believe the author ever exacted on the origins for the choice of his naming, other than basing them on European names, and it is highly possible the author just slapped them together. Isn't Auer a German/Swedish surname? I don't really think that counts as Eastern Europe... Wait, or was it Auerstedt for the Swedish one? Anyway, I really don't think it's classified as Eastern European.

I'm not sure if I'm replying in the correct way (sorry I don't use the wiki alot), well I don't think there's a official translation of her name like an image I can source if that's what you meant. It's just I can't find Owell anywhere as a surname whereas Auer is a real surname and completely fits the kata. There is Powell, Howell, Lowell, Orwell, the last of which is オーウェル which also brings me to the other point. There are exceptions like Gakusen Toshi but the ウエ should generally be　ウェ to read as "we", not always but I feel it's a point here. I'll also mention I completely respect all of you translators working on this ln so if you want to change a few characters' names I don't mind, I just wanted to point this out in case it was overlooked. Tada Banri was walking.

Following him was Yanagisawa Mitsuo, they reached the crosswalk.

The signal was flashing, those two were running and jumping while laughing like two dogs, screaming "This is dangerous!" "Run run!". They were with both their hands shaking with the weight of the supermarket vinyl bags.

Without caring about a dead or alive state of the body, if I am supposed to be the only one to keep existing. If my parents die, Banri dies, Linda dies, everyone that I know dies, and this doesn't come to an end.

"... I am telling you to wait for me!"

With tears dripping, I clean my face with my hand, and I desperately got up. I chased after Banri that was going far away, running with all my might while raising a crying voice. That was so hard up to now. I don't want to be left back. I don't want to be left back and be forgotten all alone at a place like this.
