Under normal circumstances, when a person wears a smile he often will infect the people around him, easing the surrounding atmosphere, but by coincidence Kirei was of a personality that was not the sort to like seeing other people smiling; moreover, the smile of the King of Heroes in front of him could only be associated with some unsettling things.

"But there are two types of haughtiness too. The case in which the person has too low a caliber; and the case in which he has too great a wish. The former, not unusual one is very foolish, but the latter is of a difficult-to-obtain, rare species."

"Both are stupid things without any difference, isn't that so?"

"In comparison to mediocrity, this type of rare foolishness appears even more valuable, does it not? The Master of Berserker seemed to be searching for some ‘redemption’. Because he had fled, he had caused the second daughter of the Tō¬sakas to become a sacrifice, and was now returning to request that the hostage be released¡¬ the conditions of the exchange being that he retrieved the Holy Grail. It seemed that he had a history with Tokiomi’s wife Aoi in the past. He was the one of the five enemy Masters whose motive was the most basely ordinary.

About Saber's Master―Kirei had to lie to Archer.

Assassin, up till being accidentally exterminated the previous night, had not found any information related to Emiya Kiritsugu. Only that that man seemed almost as if he had seen through to that Assassin being killed by Archer was a fraud, until the end thoroughly concealing his own secrets. It could only be said that to be able to do this under surveillance as strict as Assassin was truly worthy of appreciation. In comparison with the other Masters only he was a special existence.

And, even if Kirei had really discovered Kiritsugu’s true intent, he would probably not have reported this to Archer.

Therefore, Kirei. When you, through yourself, again recount all that you have heard, seen, and understood, you have already amply shown your inner thoughts. That which your words describe in greatest detail, is also that which you are most interested in.

In other words, observing a person's words and actions, is the best way of understanding his interests. Toys like humans, stories like life¡¬ there is truly no more meaningful way of entertainment."

This time Kirei also had to admit, he had truly been careless.

He had originally thought that this was only the King of Heroes' meaningless amusement. But it looked as if his judgment had lapsed; the other party was using this method to probe his innermost thoughts.

"Firstly discount that guy you purposely hid the truth about. This sort of subconscious concern is but only a sort of stubbornness. Now what I want to talk about is the person you unintentionally noticed.

Then, speaking of this, of the remaining four Masters, who is it then that you paid most attention to?"

Kirei suddenly felt a strong sense of unease in his heart. At this point, it would be best to end this topic as soon as possible.

Regarding Kirei's indecision, Archer seemed to feel satisfied, smilingly drinking a mouthful of red wine, then continuing to say.

"The Master of Berserker. Called what, Kariya? Kirei, your report of this man was truly extremely detailed."

"...¬ Because his matters are relatively complicated. So the parts that require specific explanation are naturally more numerous. That's all."

"Hm, I don't think so? That is because you are more concerned about this man's matters, so you gave Assassin the order to 'thoroughly investigate these complicated matters'. An order you gave under circumstances even you were not aware of, purely based on interest."

"... ..."

Facing Archer's argument which did not permit rebuttal, Kirei began to review his own actions.

Matō¬ Kariya¡¬ he had indeed believed this was a character that required especial attention. Not only did this person bear a strong hatred for Tokiomi, Berserker as his Servant also had the mysterious ability of being able to seize others' Noble Phantasms, considerably the arch-nemesis of Archer.

But in consideration of threat level-- Kariya and Berserker would definitely not be first in line.

The Master and Mad Enhanced Servant, hastily prepared, that came forth to the war. They will probably be, of these five enemy groups, the quickest to be eradicated. There was not even need for use of some scheme; merely dragging out the battle into a protracted war would be enough.

As long as let be, he would be his own death. So to some extent, he should probably be considered an opponent extremely easily dealt with. Against such an opponent, still investigating the situation thus detailedly¡ªtaking a step back, it truly appeared somewhat insensible.

"...¬ I admit it, this was a lapse in my judgment."

With the humility of a clergyman acquired from long years of self-cultivation, Kirei nodded and said.

"Indeed, after thinking about it carefully, Matō Kariya is but a short-lived and thus weak enemy.

From a long-term perspective, he cannot become a threat, is not worthy of attention. I have given him too high an appraisal, and only thus have to Archer-- you, explained too much."

"Heh, is that it?"

Even though Kirei had made allowances, Archer's glittering scarlet eyes, still had an unfathomable expression.

"But Kirei, now let us suppose-- in the event of miracle interweaving with luck, Berserker and his Master survived unto the end and furthermore obtained the Holy Grail. What will happen at that time, have you thought about it?"

In the event of, that is, assuming something completely unreal¡¬

The ultimate end of what Matō¬ Kariya seeks is only the showdown with Tō¬saka Tokiomi. Not considering his chances of winning, in the event that he was in the end victorious over Tokiomi and furthermore obtained the Grail-- at that time, what will Kariya face?
... It did not even require thought; it must be his own darkness. Originally for the sake of helping Aoi reclaim her daughter, but now to claim the life of Aoi's husband. Of this contradiction he seemed still unaware, no, rather than say he is unaware, once might say he is, because of the jealousy and selfishness of his heart, intentionally deceiving himself, hiding this feeling.

When facing that bloodstained victory, Matō¬ Kariya will definitely sink into the dilemma of having to face the ugliness of his own heart.

Archer, from one side watching Kirei silently thinking, smiled and said.

"I say, Kirei. Did you realize the true significance of my asking you this question?"

"...¬ What do you mean?"

Archer's hint made Kirei even more confused.

Did his previous thought process have any areas of inadequacy...

"Tell me, Archer. What exactly is the significance of Matō¬ Kariya obtaining the final victory?"

"Nothing, nothing at all—hey, don't assume such a scary expression. I've told you so many times that I don't have the intention of poking fun at you.

Think about it, why did Kirei Kotomine all along not discover the complete meaninglessness of this question? Do you not feel that this matter in itself is worthy of consideration?"

If this conversation were to continue, Archer would continue to lead him by the nose, step by step. So Kirei just gave up thinking, resting his entire body against the chair and saying.

"You might as well speak plainly, Archer."

"If I had posed the same question to you using another Master as an example, you would definitely perceive at once that this is a completely meaningless question, and directly cast away such a silly question. But with Kariya it is different. You did not believe this to be a pointless question, instead interestedly immersing yourself in this sort of hypothetical thinking.

Completely uncaring that one is doing something so futile. This precisely is authentic 'interest'. Congratulations, Kirei, you can finally understand what is 'entertainment'."

"...¬ Entertainment? You speak of pleasure?"

"Yes."

Hearing Archer's affirmation, Kirei resolutely shook his head.

"In the fate of Matō¬ Kariya, there is no element that would allow one to feel 'pleasure'. The longer his life, the heavier the suffering and lamentation accumulates on his body. To him, an earlier death would instead be a sort of salvation."

"Oh Kirei, why perceive "pleasure" that narrowly?"

As if facing a student with poor comprehension abilities, Archer sighed deeply.

"Exactly what contradiction is there between suffering and lamentation and 'pleasure'? So-called pleasure does not take any particular form; it is precisely because you do not understand this that you are confused."

"That's not something which should be forgiven!"

Kirei's angry voice, like a conditioned reflex, rang out.

"King of Heroes, only people with evil like you will feel happiness in savoring the suffering of other people. But, that is the spirit of a sinner. An evil which must be punished. Especially you will not be on this path of faith I, Kotomine Kirei, live on!"

"So you believe that pleasure in itself is a sort of sin? Heh, you do make fallacious arguments. You've become a really interesting man."

Just when Kirei was still considering retorting with a few words, suddenly an acute pain wracked his entire body, forcing him to double over.

"—— !?"

From his forearm near the elbow came a burning pain. Though the reason was unknown, but this feeling Kirei had truly once felt. The same painful and strange feeling as now-- Kirei had felt it three years ago. At that time, it had been the back of his left hand. That was also when everything had started.

The pain was gradually replaced by waves of burning. Kirei stopped thinking out of surprise, only unconsciously rolling up his sleeve and checking his wrist.

On the back of his left hand, had suddenly appeared the holy marks of fate. The remaining Command Seals, the symbol of which part had vanished after having been used once against Assassin, had reappeared in their original size.

"Heh, exactly as I thought? But this is truly too soon."

"Bastard—"

New Command Seals. The numb feeling brought about by the intense pain proved that these were authentic holy marks, but even thus, Kirei nevertheless was temporarily unable to regain his senses, stunned and unable to say a word.

This is completely impossible.

At this point all the Masters were still alive. And not one Servant had had their contracts terminated. Being again granted Command Seals under these conditions—this sort of thing was unprecedented.

And in addition, Kirei did not belong to the '3 families of the beginning'. That the Holy Grail would grant him, one who has withdrawn, with the same holy marks—what hopes did it have of him? This was truly a completely incomprehensible, abnormal situation.

"It looks as if the Grail still has high expectations of you."

Archer, with a somewhat sinister smile, said.

"Kotomine Kirei, you should also respond to the Grail's expectations. No matter what, you must have a reason to wish to obtain the Grail."

"I... my reason to obtain the Grail?"

"If that is truly a miracle that can grant any wish—the Grail is definitely able to realize even what you yourself do not perceive, the deepest wish of your heart."

Gazing at Archer's expression, Kirei suddenly felt a sense of déjà vu. Yes—that was depicted in the illustrations of the Bible, the expression of the snake of Eden.

"Kirei. Thinking will not bring you the answer. It is precisely this sort of thought, chained by ethics, that has distorted your knowledge.

Pray that you can obtain the Grail. At that time you will find among the things the Grail brings you, the answer to the true happiness you seek."

"... ..."

This is something Kirei has never thought about.

This is a reversal of the ends and the means. Precisely because he does not know what his own wish is, he must obtain the Grail that can grant all wishes to find it out.

If it were just to find the answer- indeed, there is a way to find an immediate answer.

"... But if it is like this, I will have to personally destroy the wishes of six other people before being able to find the answer. And if I seek the Holy Grail for my own personal intents... I must make an enemy of my teacher and benefactor."

"You must first look for a strong Servant. Otherwise, how will you contend with me."

As if speaking of someone else's matters, Archer leisurely drank a sip of red wine and said.

"Anyway, as a necessary precondition, you must first seize a Servant from the others.

As for what comes after... heh, Kirei, you're on your own."

As if now more interested in Kirei who had been again granted the holy marks, the scarlet eyes of the King of Heroes shone with the light of pleasure.

"To pursue, for your own desires. That is the true way of entertainment. Then entertainment will bring pleasure, and pleasure will guide you in the direction of happiness.

The road has been pointed out to you, Kirei. Pointed out extremely clearly to you."

Inadvertently glancing out the window, finding that it was already dawn outside.

Gazing at the steadily rising morning sun, Emiya Kiritsugu did not have any deep emotion, continuing to carry out the work of sorting out information.

The hotel in front of the city station, where he had met Maiya three days ago, was now being used as one of the hidden strongholds. Firstly suspending all the hotel room services, then putting up blank maps of the entire region of Fuyuki City all over the walls, then labeling and marking on the map the information related to the various locations, missing none.

The several days of searching routes and times, information sent by the familiars, the spiritual variance. Obtaining, from tapping the police radio station, intelligence on the missing persons, locations of points of surveillance-- indicating regardless of magnitude of the night-time happenings in Fuyuki City, the icons showed, mosaic-like, a situation in a state of chaos.

While Emiya Kiritsugu's right hand silently continued the work of marking, his left hand unconsciously shoved the nutritional supplements he had bought on his way while investigating-- fast-food hamburgers-- mechanically into his mouth, then chewing repeatedly. To Emiya Kiritsugu, who had dined at the palace-cuisine-like table of the Einzberns for nine years and had long become tired of it, this fast food filled with the sense of slaughter was more suited to his tastes. No matter how one puts it, the ability to eat under the premise of not interrupting one's work or thoughts is something that is better than anything.

When all markings on the maps were done, Kiritsugu sorted out the overall content, re-determining the direction of the Heaven's Feel.

Archer-- there was no movement in the Tōsaka house. Ever since defeating Assassin on the first day, Tokiomi had, like a hibernating bear, closed his doors and not gone out; an unfathomable silence.
Berserker-- the Master-like silhouette that had entered the Matō house, though verified many times by the familiars that had been sent out, looked as if completely defenseless and could be attacked at discretion. But Berserker's mysterious special ability could contend with Archer, who held an exceptionally powerful Noble Phantasm. For the sake of restricting Tōsaka on some level, should or should not Berserker be let alone.

Lancer-- replacing the gravely injured Lord El-Melloi, his fiancé Sola-Ui Nuade-Re Sophia-Ri had begun to act. She was probably the one controlling Lancer now. Whether she was temporarily taking on the responsibilities of Master through the Book of the False Attendant or had seized the Command Seals and formed a new contract with Lancer-- if it was the former, even killing Sola-Ui could not cut off Lancer's prana supply, could not render Lancer unable to fight. In that case, whether to attack Sola, looked now as if it would still require observation.

Caster-- the previous night, there had again been a number of children missed from the city. It looked as if he cared absolutely nothing for the warrant of his arrest that had been issued by the authorities, still continuing his inhuman acts unbridled.

Rider-- no clues at all. Because he always moves about together with his Master in his flying Noble Phantasm, tracking them would be difficult. Appearing to be openhearted at first, a formidable enemy without any flaws.

Regarding Rider and Archer—in the Einsbern castle Maiya Hisau had awakened a little while back, and Irisviel had relayed by telephone the majority of the information.

It seemed that things had progressed in an unexpected direction, so Rider, who had had no other way out could only use his Noble Phantasm to wipe out Assassin.

Rider's Noble Phantasm named "Ionian Hetairoi" was very much cause for concern. But what Kiritsugu cared more about was the fate of Assassin.

Though Assassin was a Servant that could be of unlimitedly increasing value, what exactly was the underlying intent of all this? And, the Assassin troops that had attacked the Einsbern castle last night, must have mobilized their entire combat effectiveness. If not, they, individually weak in combat, would not have been able to constitute strength in numbers. This sequence of events was completely different from the farce at the Tōsaka mansion last time; this time, it could possibly be considered that Assassin had already been completely eradicated.

Then--what about their Master?

Kiritsugu sighed deeply, lighting the first cigarette of the day. In the end, it was still this in which anticipation remained.

Kotomine Kirei. The greatest "heresy" in existence in the Fourth Heaven's Feel—

To Kiritsugu, what the exact purpose for which this man entered this war was, he still could not understand at all.

At the time of discovering Assassin in the chaotic battle at the street of storehouses, Kiritsugu had then already realized that the Master of Assassin was Tōsaka Tokiomi's puppet, only responsible for the task of scouting. But Kotomine Kirei, behind this, had repeatedly taken many actions that he was unable to understand.

During the attack on Kayneth at the Fuyuki Hyatt Hotel, ambushing at the scene of the construction of the central building, Kotomine Kirei—

During the siege of the Einsberns, sneaking into the castle from the completely opposite direction, Kotomine Kirei—

No matter which event was being considered, only when supposing his target was Emiya Kiritsugu, could all this be explained.

First staging a farce of pretending to withdraw, then while fleeing to the Fuyuki Church to request protection, continuing to dispatch large numbers of Assassin to spy. To make this tactic even more perfect, Kirei should obviously have been hiding in the Fuyuki Church all this while, not setting one foot out of doors. But his current actions completely exposed himself.

Kiritsugu, originally hiding under the cover of Irisviel and Saber, had only been exposed during the confrontation of Lord El-Melloi, so up till the day before yesterday there should not have been anyone who knew his true identity. Even if Tōsaka's intelligence network had truly discovered that it was Kiritsugu taking action in secret, it would not have reached the point at which it could be concluded from this that in truth it was Kiritsugu who had made the contract with Saber. And excluding these, from the perspective of the overall war, what is the objective of targeting Kiritsugu for pursuit?

Though it could also possibly be because of a completely unreasonable personal grudge, but this sort of probability is extremely low. In the process of investigating all of Kotomine Kirei's experiences, there were close to no instances of his crossing paths with Emiya Kiritsugu. Even within the magi who had been assassinated by Kiritsugu and the extrapolated associated people who had been sacrificed, there were no friends or relations of Kotomine Kirei's acquaintance.

In any case, it could surely be said-- even having lost Assassin, Kotomine Kirei will definitely stand in front of Emiya Kiritsugu and block his way. No matter what are the conditions of this man's actions, they have already exceeded the domain of the Heaven's Feel. Even after losing his Servant, he will not quietly withdraw.

While exasperatedly pondering, Kiritsugu, sighing, exhaled a mouthful of purple cigarette smoke.

When thinking of anything related to Kotomine Kirei, it is as if he has been imprisoned in bottomless darkness, and can only feel waves of dread.

Kiritsugu's tactics are to 'confuse the opponent's psyche' from beginning to end. Where the enemy is preparing to attack, what the enemy's objective is, as long as it is possible to first see through the opponent's actions, one will then be able to discover the opponent's blind spot and weakness. In addition, a magus usually possesses greater 'awareness of purpose' than normal people. It is only precisely because of this that Kiritsugu, while 'hunting', has never missed.

Yet now. An enemy like Kotomine, that one is 'completely unable to fathom, whether superficially or intrinsically', is precisely Kiritsugu's greatest threat. And before this type of powerful enemy, Kiritsugu is yet now helpless.

Virtually like a tracker who can read his mind, see through all his actions. This time Kiritsugu does not stand in the position of the hunter but in the position of the prey. This exactly is the singular, unforeseen key factor—

"... ...Who, exactly, are you?"

At last, inadvertently murmured in Kiritsugu's mouth. The more one thinks about problems related to Kotomine Kirei, the further away from oneself the answer grows. Therefore one can only grow even more impatient.

Exactly what is interesting about this sort of pursuit-and-kill. It looked as if it would still be necessary to continue fighting under the risk of receiving unexpected attacks at any time.

Kiritsugu rented a garage in the nearby town, and inside hid an altered oil-powered car that could be remote-controlled over long distances. This civil weapon, called 'low-cost cruise missile' by the urban guerrillas, was originally the trump card prepared for use during siege by Matō or Tōsaka. If one were to run this into the Fuyuki Church in which Kotomine Kirei was lying low, even that Executor would probably not be able to prevail...

"... Bastard, that’s enough..."

While reminding himself, Kiritsugu haphazardly snuffed out the cigarette in the ashtray.

Now in front of him there were still many enemies that required prioritized eradication. What he had to gain victory in was the Heaven's Feel. And from the perspective of the Heaven's Feel, Kotomine Kirei was only a defeated Master. Even without knowing the intention for which he is attacking Kiritsugu, to be constrained within this problem and thus neglect the important battle, is truly too uncalled-for.

The state of him being caught in impatience irritated him. This is probably the sign of his judgment starting to dull. There is a need to reset.

It was approximately more than seventy hours since the last time he had slept. Though under the influence of amphetamines he did not in fact feel sleepy, but the sense of fatigue was truly accumulating, so that his focus and concentration were both deteriorating.

There was approximately still some time before today's daytime meeting with Maiya; take this bit of time to ease the fatigue.

Kiritsugu perceives himself as an automated mechanical device, therefore caring absolutely nothing for his physical health. His management of his health is the same as how he organizes his large number of weapons-- only sustaining his body in a working condition of being able to operate at full capacity.

After going to the toilet, Kiritsugu lay down on the bed, then used a self-hypnosis spell to disperse his consciousness. This is a crude way of eliminating mental stress-- the disintegration and cleansing of the psyche.

Although self-hypnosis was not some high-level thaumaturgy, but at release would cause one to experience a certain lack and dislocation of self-consciousness, so many people were not willing to use this sort of thaumaturgy. But to Emiya Kiritsugu, as long as it was the most efficient method of rest it was the best, so he used this method extremely frequently.

Approximately two hours later, the originally scattered consciousness will be restored, and the hypnotized person will naturally wake. In this period of time, the physical body of the hypnotized person is in a walking-corpse state of complete unconsciousness-- but using it at this hidden place should be safe.

Kiritsugu, relaxed, after dispelling the image of his enemy from his consciousness, fell into a deep sleep.

The streets outside the window met the rising sun and began a new day.

Everyone has waited long for the publication of the second volume of Fate/zero.

Compared to the small struggles of the prequel-- from this volume of increasingly intense battles on, the Grail War has finally officially begun.

The many stories surrounding the event of Kiritsugu destroying an entire building, mentioned in the glossary of Fate/stay night, and the constant mentions of the Fourth Heaven's Feel in Fate/hollow ataraxia, have also gradually come to light.

For example, in Fate/hollow ataraxia, Saber had said something like this; does everyone still remember?

"U-unless this is the octopus Shirou and the rest were talking about? I can't imagine that sort of magic fish!

...what? You mean that planar monster that cannot be cut up no matter how one tries to do so, you would go so far as to make me eat that!" (From Fate/hollow ataraxia)

Needless to say. What is mentioned here is the battle against Caster in this volume. Then "in reality Saber, what you eat is actually what comes out from inside that thing." If one were to say this. She would certainly be very angry. It’s definitely going to give her a huge shock.

And many other stories related to the Fate series, when readers reach that part of the game again after having finished reading this book in its entirety, will certainly incite interest.

Then, though this should not be said in front of readers, but everyone probably already knows this anyway-- the ending of Fate/zero has already been decided.

Only Emiya Kiritsugu survives, and all the other people are sacrificed.

Though Saber emerges victorious, she is unable to obtain the Grail.

Not only that, under the control of the Command Seals she destroyed with her own hands the Grail that carried her wishes--

And, leaving only the one fact of 'Fuyuki's greatest catastrophe'.

This is an extremely cruel story with absolutely no salvation.

The endings of Fate/stay night are many-- tragic endings, happy endings-- I believe that players should already understand, Fate/zero is not like that.

Because this is a 'past' story that happened before Fate/stay night. Shirō¬ became troubled in the Fate route because of what happened in the past; what has already passed, no one has the ability to change.

There is only one ending; this cannot be altered.

Which basically means that the many charming characters that debut in Vol.2 of Fate/zero only have an end of being eradicated.

For to a story with only tragic outcomes like this, perhaps there will be people who are not willing to continue reading. After all, as far as stories that induce a heavy heart are concerned, there will probably be those who would rather keep their distance.

But, but.

Even if you are like that, I believe you will have the desire to continue reading Fate/zero.

Because here there is Emiya Kiritsugu, the Emiya Kiritsugu that even Shirō, after abandoning his dreams, and Saber, who had only seen Kiritsugu's callous magus side, had not seen.

In order to allow everyone in this world to be happy--

Here, with such foolish dreams, is Emiya Kiritsugu. Here, with the terrible fear of losing the person he loves, is Emiya Kiritsugu. Here, extraordinarily formidable, is Emiya Kiritsugu.

So all of you probably do want to read on. For instance, Emiya Kiritsugu's last words in Fate/stay night.

"Ahah-- don't worry."

Wanting to read this line.

Other than this, in Fate/zero there are many other mysteries.

For example. In this volume there was in fact no mention of the battle between Alexander and Gilgamesh; facing these absolutely strong two who possess powerful Noble Phantasms, how should Saber deal with them?

And the unidentified Black Knight-- what is his (her?) origin? And why suddenly attack Saber?

And what endings will come of the goings-on between Matō Kariya, Tōsaka Aoi and Tōsaka Tokiomi?

(Of course, it will definitely be a tragic ending.)

We already know all the endings in Fate/zero.

But we do not know the 'paths' that lead to this ending. And we do not know, those warriors who are destined for destruction-- how they fight, how they perish, even how they fall.

Those who wish to solve these mysteries, those who wishes to know their 'path' and everyone who has similar thoughts, probably very much wants to continue reading Fate/zero.
And, one more thing.
In reality, Fate/zero is a story of salvation.

Even though the Fourth Heaven's Feel ends with a tragic outcome. But Emiya Kiritsugu saved Emiya Shirō¬. And Saber being summoned forth as Emiya Shirō's Servant is also a fate that has already been determined.

Emiya Kiritsugu, tormented, despairing, then dying after being saved by the existence of Emiya Shirō-- even if this is mocked by his mortal enemy Kotomine Kirei, it should probably count as a happy ending.

Whether for Emiya Kiritsugu who walks towards an end of darkness and despair, or the other magi and Servants who joined the Heaven's Feel with their many different wishes-- I implore them, and the readers, to witness the process of this entire event.

Then, before I wrote this postface.

Urobuchi Gen said to me, "Before writing the postface, what about looking at the manuscript of Vol. 2?" I, full of joy, immediately agreed: "Greatly honoured to be allowed to read this work, please let me read it, let me read it at once." Then I, at maximum happiness, immersed myself in the joy of reading.

Rather than being a privilege for people involved, this could be compared to a sort of Noble Phantasm.
This is a sort of Noble Phantasm with the name of 'dastardly fantasy'.

In this present moment, this thrill of 'reading' before anyone else. Ohoho, kekeke. Just like Waver in Vol. 1.

Um, hi. I'm onewhiterabbit. I'm <strike>an obsessive-compulsive stalker</strike> a perfectionist. So please don't capitalize my name, whenever possible. :)

I know some English and Chinese (which is my first language and mother tongue respectively). I don't think I'm proficient enough in either language to be able to completely retain the original meaning after translation, factoring in significance of formatting, structure and language quirks on top of there being no absolute equivalents, but I abuse dictionaries, translators and thesauri. :)

I was a writer for a time (under a different name) on fanfiction.net and fictionpress.com, and a lurker everywhere else. Which may explain a little of the strange roundabout way I have of phrasing things, but hopefully that won't leak too much into my work here. :)

Hope I won't make a complete mess of things :)
