So I was wondering what exactly should be the standard for this? I personally am not a fan of italicizing them, because it makes it seem as though they should be emphasized. It also seems to break the flow of the sentence, at least for me when I'm reading through it. Also, how are you going to deal with it if someone starts using a honorific sarcastically? I do however agree with italicizing of Japanese terms that appear only once for which there is no English translation. Recurring Japanese terms I think can be italicized the first time and in future times they can be left as normal. What are others' thoughts on this?

On an unrelated topic, what are other people's thoughts on references vs mouse-over text? My stand is that short translations of Japanese terms with no ready English translation that I stated above as well as phrases with double-readings (eg an English word with Japanese furigana or technical terms particular to this story that is better when left in Japanese but we want to provide readers with an English translation) should use mouse-over text, whereas others should use references.

Is there no forum or something we could use to discuss things like this?

It's an illustration book with two short stories in it. I unfortunately don't own it so if I made a section I wouldn't know what to put under it. Trying to purge a wiki cache while as anon user makes it put up a page that ask you to press OK. Not sure if that will happen with phone app as well, and that might be annoying. Are we trying to say that Sora likes Yuuta because he is the brother of Yuri - "And it might just be because '''Onii-chan’s is Yuri-san brother''' that Sora liked him so much. "

Or are we trying to say that Sora likes Yuri because she is Yuuta's sister - "And it might just be because Yuri-san is Onii-chan’s sister that Sora liked '''her''' so much." ?

If you are talking about Dedicated Editor who is damn good in English, willing to go through every word, fix the grammar, standardize the terms, and adhere to our guidelines, and communicate with the translators for clarification on ambiguous sentences, and constantly strives and is also capable of improving the flow with minimal changes to the intended meaning of the author, no. --[[User:Larethian|larethian]] 02:30, 22 February 2012 (CST)

No I meant anonymous editors every now and then. I heard this was a fairly popular project, so seeing a lack of editors is baffling to me. I've read the general guide lines, but was wondering if someone more experienced could just walk me through how to use the Wiki and such... sorry I'm noob... I am working on a SF/fantasy novel along side an indie game script and I believe some editing experience would help a lot. I also love BT and would like to contribute to the community.
