Hi, I'm Supergrunch, and I joined this site to help out with the CLANNAD project. I've been self-learning Japanese for about 3 years, and am at a level where I can roughly translate things, but am not really good enough to be sure that I've got the right meaning. I have had a go at translating visual novels before - I did the first Onikakushi-hen translation before Sonozaki Futago-tachi started doing their own, at a speed I can't really match, and with a better level of accuracy. I apologise for the poor quality of my translation - it was really just notes I was making that never really got proofed.

Anyway, I'm fluent in English (my first language) and am a bit of a grammar nut, so am happy to check things for accuracy and correct them where necessary. It's probably worth pointing out that I am British and therefore use British English - I'm not sure what view people have on this, but if I were to attempt writing in American English, I'd be sure to get some things incorrect. I also write in a somewhat formal style, as you may have already noticed.
