Question about the 'the descendant of both' wording.

New page

From Volume 7, it seems to imply that Minamoto no Yoshitsune and Genghis Khan are two names for the same person; based on this, instead of 'the descendent of both', should a more ambiguous wording be chosen? Alternatively, does the original wording itself unambiguously refer to the two as separate, with the implication that the speaker is concealing the true nature of events when speaking? (Or am I misundersatnding something important?) Thank you very much for the translations!
