Separately, with reference to my earlier comments about what Yamamoto should and should not know by April 1943, I can see that the writer cheated, and brought many people back through time separately from Yamamoto himself. Normal alternative history introduces only one divergence from history, and builds from that point. 			In the end, the book does not appear to be half as extreme and anti-American as the anime adaptation was. But it was definitely wish-fulfillment fantasy that does not comply with the accepted standards for Alternate History. At least this book does not do what the anime adaptation did: attack the non-existent Los Alamos National Laboratory. It was not created for several years after the events of this story.
