Hi! My name is Alec. I really appreciate what everyone here does! <3<3<3 I edit here and there but I always feel bad for changing someone else's work without permission.

About me:
I had an admittedly shallow official start to anime a few months ago. At the root of it all, a comment on imgur of Chizuru (from Kanokon). Before that, I seen Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist and Cowboy Bebop on adult swim back in the day, so it's not like anime was something new to me. However, I was pretty young and trying to follow the shows on TV was troublesome (and 99% of dubs are just too corny). After Kanokon, I started moving towards romances. First was Shuffle!, which I still to this day think is a great anime for what it is, then True Tears and finally Clannad. I was completely hooked.

My first experience with Japanese light novels was Orimo. I sought it out in desperation for some sort of closure after seeing the anime. Seriously, Orimo more or less left me in a state of depression; It was really quite a sad display. While the novels didn't really give me any solace, reading them did spark a love I've been unknowingly missing my whole life. Honestly, I've never been happier.

Someday I will help translate for this community. That's a promise!
