Kämpfer (けんぷファー) is a light novel series written by Tsukiji Toshihiko and illustrated by Semmu. The series has currently 15 volumes.
Story Synopsis
The plot revolves around Natsuru Senou, a normal high school boy with blue hair. One day he wakes up to find himself turned into a girl. A stuffed tiger "Harakiri Tora" comes to life and tells him to fight as a female fighter "Kämpfer". Having no idea about what's going on, Natsuru is involved in many battles against other female Kämpfer.
Translation And Editing
Dedicated Editors
This project is in need of dedicated editors in order to help speed translation.
Editors are asked to notify a project supervisor before beginning, and in any case where sentence meaning may be changed, use chapter discussion beforehand
Drive-by Editors
Drive-by-editing of obvious typos, bad grammar, spelling, or missing words or any obvious mistakes will be much appreciated.
Again, before changing a sentence's meaning, please use the chapter discussion.
Translators
There are still Kampfer books that haven't been translated.
Anyone with decent Japanese or Chinese skills will gladly be allowed to translate, if there are people who know Japanese or Chinese and would like to help out, just not with the tedious job of translating, proofreaders are also appreciated. Proofreaders are asked to follow the same guidelines as editors when it comes to changing a sentences meaning, they are given more freedom regarding this however.
Registration
Those who wish to contribute are asked to first notify a supervisor beforehand.
Translators are asked to register which chapters they're working on
Format Standards
Every Chapter (after editing) must conform to general and project specific guidelines.
