Afterword[edit]

Nice to meet you if you are reading me for the first time, and hello again to those who already knew me before. It is a great honor for me to know that you have this book in your hands. As this is a new story, it is just a prelude, but I hope to do my best and I would be very happy if you join me in this journey. First of all, I clarify the fact that since there are many people who usually read this appendix, there will be no need to worry about spoilers because I won't give them. Instead, I will deal with the topic of the making of the main story of Mahou Sensou.

It just so happens that wizardss have always seemed cool to me. Therefore, it makes me very happy to be able to write a story about them. In the next volume, it will touch on the theme of school life, but I want to do it in the best possible way, adding that magical touch. I want to focus on Takeshi, Kurumi and maybe a little bit on Ida, regarding his control over magic... well, I mean, this time I tried to make the characters' names easier to read (referring to the kanji). You may not have noticed, but there is a pattern between the kanji of those who belong to each community. For Wizard's Breath, I have placed numeric characters and for Ghost Trailers, they will have animal characters. That way you will understand beforehand, just by reading the name, which community some characters belongs to. Later on, there will be other communities that will also appear. It will be complicated for me to do all that, but it doesn't matter.

Now, what follows is the type of relationship between Takeshi, Kurumi and Mui. The relationship between them is very complicated except for Kurumi whose position is much clearer than the other two. The only thing I can say now, is that both Kurumi and Mui, are the main waifus so we can see them both as a kind of "Double main waifu". As an author, I think writing about Kurumi is very simple, but because she is unpredictable, it can't be said that she is someone ordinary. Currently, Takeshi usually makes Kurumi nervous, but what will come next, whatever it is I'm going to write about it. Currently the four of them including Ida, they are just a newbie wizards, but I hope you can see later on, what kind of wizards they will become.

Since there are so many wizard characters in the world, I'm sure more than one will have a wizard or magical girl they consider their favorite, so I want to do my best to write about one that they can add to that list as well.

Now, what follows are acknowledgments:

Thanks to "K-san" who is in charge, who committed the feat of coming to Osaka in the middle of snowfall, and I missed the phone calls and emails. I have caused him several inconveniences so I apologize. Well, the worst inconvenience of all was that I made the deadline without turning anything in. It so happens that when I'm alone, I tend to slack off so you'll have to check on me from time to time to make me take it more seriously. I'll be making trouble later on (I'll let you know!).

Thanks to Lunalia-sama who made those illustrations. Thank you for such wonderful drawings despite your busy schedule. Everyone, characters, boys and girls are just as I imagined them. I would like to scream, but, I am so embarrassed that I feel like my head is going to explode. They're cute, they're great, and they're all great. Besides, I'm not the only one who thinks Mui and Kurumi's skirt length is perfect. I thank you deeply for giving me the idea for the gun. It will be a real pleasure to work with you from now on.

Thanks to all those people who made this first volume possible, thank you all for your concern and support. I really thank you very much.

And finally to my readers. Thank you for giving me the pleasure of sharing this same world with you.

Sincerely yours: Suzuki Hisashi. The robot with one nut missing.
