The server will need to perform a reboot at at 20:00 CET on Sunday the 13th November in order to perform critical updates, please note that the wiki will go in read-only mode 1 hour before the update to prevent you from loosing your work in case you are working online. Keep in mind that we advise translators and editors to always work offline on a local copy, to avoid data loss if the website has a problem. The reboot shouldn't take long and everything is expected to be back to normal before 21:00 CET. (We'll perform some cold backup too, since we have the occasion.) A downtime of approx. 15 minutes is to be expected. Both the wiki and the forum are concerned.
We apologize for the inconvenience! We'll get back to everyone with an update within a week.

|title=Baka-Tsuki server died

|content= Raise your hands. We need the spirit bomb.

To keep this issue short, the two most important figures of Baka-Tsuki have gone AWOL, one to Destiny, and another to a world beyond tomorrow.

The site tracker returns positive for every single email address, including gmail. Thus, changing of passwords and surfing the forums is a non-option at this point.

Unfortunately, TLG hasn't been around, and we're still trying to contact him.

In short: Domain blacklisting is broken. So, every email domain is being flagged as blacklisted, preventing password changes. So, the periodic forced password change is now restricting users from the forum. This is probably a server admin thing, so TLG is needed to resolve this issue.

Regards

'''Update:''' The broken domain blacklist has been disabled, so everyone should now be able to change their password without being identified as a spammer.

As any anonymous user have noticed, there has been a persistent error in the wiki registration process.

If you already have an account on the Wiki, you will have no problems registering, however brand new users

will be stuck on the first page.

  +
Everything should be fixed now. If you registered a forum account recently, you should have received an reminder email about activating your account. If you did not receive this, check your spam folder. If you're still having trouble, feel free to contact me or drop by the discord channel.
Unfortunately, this is not a problem we can solve without the guiding light of our glorious Big Boss & magnificent Founder.

Rest assured, since the discovery of this error, we have already dispatched 3 crack elite recon and special forces from people's Baka-Tsuki Oppression Army out into the wildness to find our Dear Leader. Unfortunately, we have never heard from them again.

But never fear! We have found 6 loyal and patriotic teenagers who have volunteered to search for the Big Boss, (someone gag that crying ones, its annoying), when they return with the Great Leader, they will be reunited with their love ones, who have been placed into our care in an happy and joyful recreational facilities deep in the Ahou Mountain Range inaccessible to the public for their protection against foreign forces.

So, until we can find the 7 dragonballs to summon TLG, please head to our forum and register your grievances if you have also experienced this problem. The Big Boss will be presented this beautiful list as a gift of sacrifices. Your duty to the Motherland is appreciated. <br />

BT now has a [https://discord.gg/YC65KzZ Discord channel], and you can find the link on the sidebar under network. Stop by to chat with other BT users. And thanks to [[User_talk:RS|R~S]] for setting it up.
Currently, I have removed most of the series on the sidebar to avoid overstacking on the 114 main series we have on the wiki. All of the top 30 are based on my personal opinion, and the list may be updated according to the shown popularity of the series<br / >

For all the remaining series on the sidebar, click on the 'Main Projects' function and search accordingly<br / >

Note that there are some series in the completed section, series like Oreimo and ToraDora.<br / >

We also added a random English project function, so any bored soul who has no idea on what to read can click on the random tag under the 'network' tab to randomly choose a series.<br />

Keep calm and keep reading.<br />

Baka-Tsuki Translation Community
About Us
PumkiMpagebanner.png
Baka-Tsuki (BT) is a fan translation community that hosts translations for light novels in the Wiki format. Founded in 2006 by Thelastguardian (初代 - 2006-2016), Baka-Tsuki has since expanded to become the largest fan-based English light novel agglomerate on the Internet. Apart from physically hosting 252 projects in 29 different languages, Baka-Tsuki aims to promote the popularity of light novels and serve as a hub to connect readers with fan translations of East Asian light novels on the Internet.

Baka-Tsuki is not a translation group. Independent translators come to Baka-Tsuki and voluntarily upload their translations to the Wiki for public sharing. Baka-Tsuki does not control what translators choose to translate or how fast they translate. Do not ask when the next chapter will be updated. Read More
