A few suggestions.

1) Since Ise is using soccer/football terminology (e.g. 3-3-3 formations), consider using forward/midfielder/defender instead of vanguard/middleguard/rearguard.

2) Bochujutsu: I would suggest translating the term so that "jutsu(technique)" doesn't need to be repeatedly explained (seems to break up the flow). Of course, how much Japanese terminology is kept is a stylistic choice with no clear answer. Unlike terms like sennjutsu which have complicated definitions, bochujutsu is pretty clear cut. The term means "Room Technique" but I'd suggest something like "Bedroom Technique" with a little nuance. At the very least, an editor might want to put up a translation note.

Hmm, not quite. Looks like some errors occurred between Japanese to Chinese translation.

1.) Actually it wasn't stated or mentioned that Ise used soccer terminology at all. 3-3-3 formations necessary doesn't mean that its limited to soccer/football anyway and often used in many formation regarding battle formations(Also its one number short to be a soccer formation since it needs to add up to 10 minus the goal keeper anyway). Also Japanese uses forward/midfielder and such directly when talking about soccer, and that wasn't the case for this scene. Though maybe there is a better term to use but soccer position would be weird and is a no-no.

2.) And again no for this as well. Translating it will definitely be easier for the readers, but it will not be true to the original text. If we use "bedroom techniques" directly then even Ise would know what it means from the name. But Ise found out what it is after how weird Koneko was acting after saying that and how the process is done. And not from the name. Sennjutsu is more common to Japanese people actually, since it pops up alot in fiction novels. Instead Bouchuujustsu isn't used much and not much Japanese people even knows what it is when they hear it for the first time.

It might probably be better to make a translation notes and reference page just like "Baka Test" I guess.

Fair enough. I wouldn't call them errors though, just that certain subtleties are lost when everything is converted into 100% kanji.

To me it sounded like sports but I had no idea about Japanese conventions of using direct loanwords, so that's a good lesson to learn.

The other, I don't know, Ise can be fairly dense at times. I feel that the concepts of "room" and "technique" should be apparent (to the reader at least, if not Ise). Since the term rarely occurs in the series anyway, a translation note on the page would likely suffice. --Zzhk 20:29, 15 July 2012 (CDT)

Can somebody check this? The part in bold doesnt seem to make sense.

Losing my lifespan is one of the consequences for using [Juggernaut Drive], and if the core of life energy is broken or hasn’t been broken, then by using senjutsu on my body it can gradually return back to normal.
