Are you sure it's [Uchigane Nishiki] and not [Uchigane Nigata] because the IS wiki states it as [Uchigane Nigata] [[wikia:c:Infinite-Stratos:Sarashiki_Kanzashi here]. Zero2001 - Talk - 09:25, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

Text gave it as 弐式, にしき, pg 66 of vol 7. For the TN note, it's Uchigane Second, no expession.--Teh Ping 09:31, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

I see. I thought that since Byakushiki literally meant "White Expressions" so... well... I understand, thanks. But what about the first part? 打鉄弐式 sounds like "Da tetsu nishiki" (according to google translate) rather than "Uchigane nishiki". Zero2001 - Talk - 09:34, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

Uchigane (打鉄) would mean 'hitting metal', literally, or blacksmith. That's correct as it was given in the text. Shiki, 式, can also mean 'type', like '百式', Hyakushiki as [100th type], or 零式ドロップショット literally meaning zero-type drop shot (I hate myself for that reference now. It's been like, what 6 years?).--Teh Ping 10:07, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

So it could be translated as "Uchigane type 2" like "Yukihira type 2"? It makes more sense since Kanzashi is supposedly trying to modify an Uchigane model into a personal IS. Zero2001 - Talk - 14:52, 10 October 2011 (CDT)

Something like that, but I don't want to confuse the readers.--Teh Ping 00:26, 11 October 2011 (CDT)

Then shall we consider alternatives? Second Model? Version 2? Since "shiki" is attached, simply "second" doesn't cut it in my opinion. Zero2001 - Talk - 11:03, 11 October 2011 (CDT)

You know, I was really thinking of putting V2 (that will be overpowered), but well, just Second Model will do.--Teh Ping 21:16, 11 October 2011 (CDT)

I think V2 is good too. But if you think so. Zero2001 - Talk - 00:11, 12 October 2011 (CDT)

Hi, at the fourth reference point about the Japanese slang, it is translated as cool in the first line but as cute in the next line, so which is it? Zakashi 08:15, 19 June 2012 (CDT)
