I know that in order to make it more comprenhensible to western readers, the point of view was sppossed to be changed to full first person instead of hat weird third person with some personal POV that japanese light-novelists fancy so much, but sentences like "The next day, as I was heading to school, I thought she saw a guy wave floppily at her, and it turned out to be Aoki." are pretty half-baked...
