Volume 1 Release Post[edit]

So, I have this entire volume 1 sitting there for over a month, I suppose, and finally it sees the light of day. Actually, I have been translating this in chunks every now and then. The reason why I decided to translate this is primarily because of the missing Hasegawa 'scenes' in the manga. And the reason why it's released as an entire volume is because the proofer was lazing around, playing eroge and stuff, and doing everything else worth doing but proofing XD. Oh well, but many thanks to georgi, whose proofing skills and experience I highly value (not just me, but many in the scantalation community, I believe). We did pour over the text several times and tried to make it better and better. If you have seen the version before it was proofed, your mind would have been blown.

Also, on a side note, there were many times I switched between translating and transliterating Otaku terminologies. In the end, I ended up keeping many of the terms due to the versatility of usages of the terms in the form of nouns, adjectives, and adverbs and also with consideration to how they are used in subsequent volumes as well. After switching back and forth, I found it less painful to keep most of them. Believe me, it was a painful decision as I hate keeping terms untranslated and using footnotes these days, but this series is so special in this aspect that it is really the lesser of two evils. Anyway, dear georgi actually wanted to give everything another look, which I really appreciate, but knowing that this will drag on for another month or two (probably the later or more) due to his tons of eroge that needed to be cleared and his school starting soon, I decided to release it as the quality was good enough for me, and he grudgingly (I think) relented. So, if you still find any mistakes or problems, the fault doesn't lie with him but in my haste. As to whether further chapters will be released or not, well, I certainly hope so, though I cannot and shall not set any timeline for them. Now this is sounding more and more like a release blog post. Anyway, hope you enjoy it! --larethian (talk) 22:07, 1 January 2014 (CST)

Can't wait to see .pdf, .fb2 or .epub. I became too lazy to read books via PC. Kiyoso (talk)
You could get epub files from Baka-Tsuki ePUB Generator. To the translator: Thanks! I really enjoy this series and checks the page weekly to see if you translated a new chapter. --Kyoushuu (talk) 09:12, 26 April 2014 (CDT)

Love the project![edit]

Just found this LN not that long ago and have fallen in love with the story so far, but I can't seem to find anything past what's been done on here. Is this project still alive on Baka-Tsuki or has it been moved elsewhere? I'd love to know what's going on with the translation process for the novels, can't wait to be able to read farther! Thanks so much to everyone working on this :)

Chapters[edit]

Can someone update this page? The number of chapters for some volumes are wrong. There are 8, 8, 6, 6, 6, 5, 6, 6 and 7 chapters for volumes 1-9 respectively. And volume 2, 3 and 9 are seemingly done.
