Project Licensed

Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan has been officially licensed in English by Sol Press, with volumes 1-3 to be released on Nov. 16, 2019. In accordance with Baka-Tsuki policy, our project is now concluded, and the novel volume pages have been removed. I'd like to thank our translators TheCatWalk, Kouen no Ten, DisavateraMX, and Frozen's Lazy Blog for their contributions, our editors for their work, and the readers for their interest and support. I hope our project has delivered a quality English version of the Rakudai Kishi story, and that you've all enjoyed reading it. Please consider supporting the official translation. -- KLSymph (talk) 18:51, 3 November 2019 (CET)

Hold it! You mean to say that you delivered your translations of the other volumes, done by the other translators over the years, straight to Sol Press? -- Sindbad DKDK (talk) 20:37, 3 November 2019 (CET)

I don't believe I meant to say that, and I'm unsure how my words would be interpreted that way. -- KLSymph (talk) 02:29, 4 November 2019 (CET)

Project not Drop?

First of all thanks for updating . By updating the project,it means its not yet drop and you got the approval ?
-Princetofu

The project has never been dropped, though the translators have not always been as available as we'd hope. As long as there are active translators, the project is still being worked on (if slowly).

I hope we'll get some update for chapter 4 after chapter 3 is finished
-- Hamberz19

You'll get chapter four after chapter three. And the epilogue. And the afterword.
-- KLSymph (talk) 21:33, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

My bad. I mean How much we need to wait until we get an update for chapter four since we got an update for chapter three after two or three months. P.S.There is no rush.
--Hamberz19 (talk) 21:42, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Sorry, Baka-Tsuki rules clearly say that you can't ask that question, so I can't answer it.
-- KLSymph (talk) 00:35, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

Hey, Just a quick question Who is in charge of translating Volume 4 ?
--Hamberz19 (talk) 22:10, 12 September 2015 (UTC)

I believe that it isn't that hard to check the registration page of the novel. As a general guideline people have to sign up there before translating. According to it, no one at the moment is planning on translating volume 4 so I'm going to say nothing will come out for a while until someone decides to pick up volume 4. My guess is that after October it will be picked up again because that is when the anime airs and people like to pick the novel up after or during the time the anime airs.

Hey, I am a huge fan of your works and really appreciate your effort i started the novel 'Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan' but there are only done till Volume 6 Chapter 2 i hope you are working on it, as i really am eager to read the later text... Thanks in advance
--ravenclaw9 (talk) 16:50, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

The translation of Volume 9 had been finished a long time ago! Someone should've added it to Baka-Tsuki already! People are waiting for it! And if noone will add it becaeuse the admins had chicken out due to the DMCA attack on the DxD series, then I'll do it myself without hesitation!
--Sindbad DKDK (talk) 22:50, 16 September 2019 (CEST)

I hate to say this, but please stop your imbecilic behavior. KLSymph has been and will edit the text translated at Frozen's Lazy Blog before they upload it to Baka-Tsuki. If people have been "waiting for it!" like you said, they can just read it at the blog themselves. This has nothing to do with the admins or anything. Baka-Tsuki has rules and projects have project managers, please follow them or kindly excuse yourself. -XDD (talk)

Pretty good speed for the last two volumes:)

Looks like this project is finally picking some pace! Keep up the great work team! :)

Permission

Hai, may I translate this series to my region..?

I'm not sure my permission matters, but go right ahead. KLSymph (talk) 03:42, 13 May 2016 (UTC)

Next Update?

Any notice on when we might get the next update? It seems like this hasn't been updated since July, and I was really looking forward to this, since it's the only translation project for Rakudai Kishi that's this far in.

As far as I'm aware the translation is currently being done at frozensama's blog. izik1 (talk) 2017/10/12@18:45 (UTC)

Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan Zero

I was wondering, how come noone started translating volume Zero? --Sindbad DKDK (talk) 21:34, 16 July 2018 (CEST)

Volume zero is available to anyone who wishes to translate it. If no one does, I will do so after I finish translating the Rakudai manga. --KLSymph (talk) 23:34, 8 April 2018 (CEST)
