Im wondering what language Est's names is from. In Latin 'est' means 'is' but in the modern romance languages it means east. Are these words kana-ized diferently? Just asking a question. --[[Special:Contributions/24.130.47.211|24.130.47.211]] 14:34, 27 March 2012 (CDT)

I believe Est is short for Terminus Est, which can be translated from Latin as "It is the end". And they aren't spelled different; テルミヌス・エスト for reference. --[[User:EnigmaticRepose|EnigmaticRepose]] 17:33, 27 March 2012 (CDT)
