− | :As a note, SAO web version is written at 2001 and posted online at 2002. And for 1/2 Prince, it is published by 2004. Well, there are some vague claims that 1/2 prince is come from this way that the first three volumes are edited from a doujin creation written by some others that are in a same club as the author when she is still studying in University, and then ongoing volumes are written by contracting some others or summarizing fans idea.
