Hello, it appears that you do not understand what the author is trying to say in High School DxD Volume 9 Life.0

Because the trip is 4 days and 3 nights, the "two whole days" refer to the middle two days. The days of departure and return are only partial (because Akeno gets to see him for part of the day), hence there are only two whole days when she cannot see him at all. "Days", in this instance, are referring to calendar days rather than periods of 24 hours.
