Good job[edit]

Nice work clocking 7k altogether for your first time translating. I won't tell you not to burn yourself up, but if you want to continue, keep your translating speed steady. Don't think of jumping to 5kb per hour the next day. Just continue to work in moderation, and you'll find that you'll get used to it.--Teh Ping 06:00, 28 October 2011 (CDT)

I'll probably do that. But I'm probably having a rocket start since I just started translating. But I'm pretty sure my fuel will run out soon. Horizon seems to burn my stock quite fast with all these terminologies and ambiguous phrasing I'm facing. --Suiri Megami Alice 07:51, 28 October 2011 (CDT)

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon[edit]

Regarding the note you wrote in the prologue.

Like you, I believe that the novel translation should be the standardization to which all terminology should be set to. As for that specific example, I'll continue translating 地脈 as Earth Pulse unless the novel gives me any indication to do otherwise.

Other than that, I advocate the creation of a standardized terminology page on the wiki to match our translations to. I haven't read past what I've translated, so I won't be much help in that.

Like Ping said, well done on your first translation. I'd be more help in translating but I take many, long breaks to play Baldr Sky or watch anime etc. There's no need to push yourself for speed in a series like Horizon, because to capture this author's prose and style of narrative, it's bound to take some time. -YoakeNoHikari 17:58, 3 November 2011 (CDT)

inactivity[edit]

Good day,

We are doing some spring cleaning in our right groups (translator, editor, etc.), and people who have been inactive for more than a year are being removed. This unfortunatly appears to be your case.

I thank you for your past work ; if you come back someday and need those tools again, please contact Help:Administration_Contact_Page
