You can feel free to make the edits you want to. I'm not really going to look at them for now. In future, I may revert or refer back to you if I feel there's any problem. In general, if you understood the meaning and the author's intention and the resulting change does not affect the meaning, it should be fine. Do refrain from unnecessary embellishing the author's description with your own words. Focus on correcting bad English, grammar, awkward sentence structures. Splitting or combining sentences are normally acceptable if there's a good reason to do so.
