I think that the clues in the teaser is more than enough to guess the one who wrote the letter! Am I right?

So anyone guessed who wrote the letter?

P.S. such stories are best read in Japanese in my opinion.

What am i? a terrorist? I say one sentence and two people shoots back at me just like that... I CANT READ JAPANESE EITHER!!

But most mystery novels would play with words, in ways that the Japanese language can, and can't be translated.

I always love reading mysteries. This light novel interests me, and I wish to read more! Oh, how I want to find out the answer!

Guess it has been long enough and all, I will not do the actual translation, but I shall reveal the answer.
Spoiler! :
加納(Kanou), the Senpai's friend is actually the one who wrote the letter. In Japanese, written forms and how they are pronounced need not be the same? This is similar to English syllables, ph- can have the sound of "f" instead? So in such, hearing the name made him fail to realize that Senpai's friend actually bears the exact same surname.

If you hereby read the chapter, or rather, this portion again, with this detail in mind, everything makes sense. Senpai, for her close friend, wants to know more about the guy's current status, gathering information. There are times when they talked and looked at him, just that it is not because of the senpai, but Kanou.
Note: In detective novels, the answer is usually what you get for the ending. However, in this case, it is not. So here and now, I post a new question. How would you answer the guy now that the answer has been revealed?

P.S. The protagonist loves ideal answers, despite how often such answers do not exist in reality. Yet he said that he has once tasted the sweetness of such an answer, so thus is unable to resist to try getting it.

P.S.2. For this first case, an ideal answer does exist.
