I'm not sure how to go about translating these two sentences from the first chapter of volume 1, I find them really confusing for some reason.

1: 私はこう見えて、親切で面倒見のいい、気配りのできる女でね、寮監に話はつけてある。
2: 我ながら、トチ狂ったやり方だ。

1. Just as my appearance suggests, I am a kind and helpful person, and being the considerate woman that I am, I had words with the boarding master. (I'm assuming this is kimberly sensei?)

2. even for me/If I say so myself, this is a rather playful method/way of doing things

So "トチ狂った" in the second sentence means playful, I couldn't find it in Denshi Jisho. What dictionary did you use?

I really like the story of this novel, I'm reading the manga adaptation, but I've always liked much more the original works (cause always are missing things in the adaptations), so I'd love if this novel series gets a full translation. I read the prologue of volume 1 and I just got more anxious about reading the full volume xD
