What do you do when volumes get translated in a weird order?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who's faced this, but sometimes when I'm reading a series, it gets translated out of order and the volume after the one that's supposed to come next gets translated first instead, so I'm wondering what everyone else does when that happens, do you decide to steel your will and wait so you can read it in order, or do you lose your patience and read ahead?

I generate PDFs. So if I don't read out of order I get spoiled. Woe is me.

I for one prefer to wait, though whenever I check and the chapter I'm waiting for isn't there I immediately think "Dammit!" but then I smile for a second after thinking about how the longer the wait is the more I'll appreciate when the chapter does come out

I just read them until the other volumes are translated and then reread the entire series while waiting for more updates
