The anon translator planned to take a few days break after volume 3. Started on first chapter of vol4 , before other anons reminded him about taking a short break, but anon decided to finish the chapter he started. No ETA on restart of translation, other than a few days.

EDIT: Forget what I said above, looks like translation restarted an hour ago on 4chan.

Actually, "annex" should be "appendix". I guess I missed that at the bottom of the page.

I'm answering your question why there is no daily update from anon TL
in the last thread at /a/ some anon (I don't know if TL or not) says that he wants to do WWB and some LH related manga that I don't remember the title

Translator changed Chilliwar to something else with the newer chapter that came from him. Maryele's name in Crunchyroll's translation they have it as Marielle.

Although irrevelant, I would like to give a huge thanks to the guys who're editing and translating this novel. Although i just watched the anime only, it made me look forward to LH novel. I never actually thought there would be people who would take up this novel because of the amount of annoying comparisons to SAO. I like SAO but this novel is completely different. It's great to know that there are other people who appreciate this novel.
So once again, thank you very much for taking the effort to share this wonderful novel.

Image from v6 has the following text visible before the end of the name gets hidden behind the character portrait: MARYEL

So either Maryele or Maryel.

You guys are picking between what's written throughout the entire series in their native language "マリエール(Marielle)" versus what's written on one page in their foreign language "Maryele".

Just saying. Same with Touya.

It's most deciding what to use within the wiki. Even the translator has used Tohya in Volume two and Touya in Volume 3. Best to get the guidelines squared away and go with that for now on.

Part of why I pick is because I believe consistency is a wonderful thing. It's annoying as all heck when you see X different spellings for the same person, or X different translations of a technique. Or when different actors are used for the same role.

Just because it's in a foreign language to them, doesn't change how he spells it. Look at all the online screen names out there. Are people required to spell their names that must correspond to the spelling/pronunciation in another language? As far as the pronunciation goes, Maryele works just as well as Marielle. The only problem comes when Henrietta calls her マリエ for short.

But then, people have nicknames that often sound/spell very different. William/Bill. Richard/shamisen. Thomas/Tom. Anthony/Tony. Catherine/Katherine/Katrina/Kate/Katy. ESPN/"that poor sod."

If anything, Maryele's "incorrect" spelling of her own online nick would work quite well as proof she's a Japanese person.

Spelling of (エルダーテール) is Elder tails.
This is seen from the logo image that is inserted at the beginning of one volume.

In Japanese, paper of software development,Homesteading the Noosphere has been translated (ノウアスフィアの開墾).
So, We thought the author and is refered to the title of this paper.

It's not good English. I am sorry.

Please tell me you're kidding. It clearly says ELDER TALES. Compare the L and the E from Elder to the ones in Tales.
