What is your android version? English translated novels should be listed in Light Novels button (try to refresh from option menu)

The Light Novel Tate No Yuusha no Nariagari is having display issues with the reader. The reader seems to skip everything after the synopsis until it comes to the "Loop Sections". Apparently an older layout for the page worked, but I can not see any noticeable differences between the two. Are you able to spot what might be causing the issue, so I can try and convince someone to fix it?

Someone mentioned preview chapters and there was a request for an example. Mushoku Tensi would be a good example of the issue. Volume 9, 11, and 18+ all have preview links. What seems to be the issue is the fact the preview links are on the same line as the links to nothing. It looks like your reader only uses the first link on the line (which is the red/dead link) and lumps the (Preview) link in with it. One fix/feature that might help with this issue, is allowing us to view the "Full Text" version within the reader.

Ah, thank you very much. I was under the impression that you'd have to search for novels with the search option and then add them to the light novels section since I didn't see anything there. It works now.

Click on the teaser tab then hit the "settings button" (I am unsure on the actual name for this button) there will be a refresh option in the menu that pops up. Hitting refresh there should scan for teasers and add them.

I'm posting because I haven't seen anyone else post about this problem. Since the last update 1.1.22, I have been unable to read certain series in the app. When I open the series and scroll down a little bit, a window will pop up saying, "Unfortunately, BakaReader has stopped." Then it will ask me to either report the error or OK to restart the application.

Campione, Date A Live, Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, Maria-sama ga Miteru, Mondaiji-tachi ga isekai kara kuru soudesu yo, Mushoku Tensei, Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Toaru Majutsu no Index, & Toaru Majutsu no Index: New Testament.

These are all the series in Watched Light Novels that restart the application. All the rest of my series in Watched Light Novels work just fine, but for some reason, it won't let me scroll down to later volumes of these select series.

Keeps happening to me too, worked fine until last week. No matter how many times I re installed or did the steps above I still cannot see any LN on my app.

Great work BTW.

Just checking back to see if anyone else is experiencing these problems, or maybe other series are doing the same thing? Haven't heard anything and other people I know who also use the app are also experiencing the same thing that I am and we were curious about it.

Possible to get the adb log file and create a github issue? Also what is your device and android version?
Tested with XT910 CM10.2 (Android 4.4.2) and I can open datealive and oreimo and read the chapters.

Anyway:
Change Log for 1.1.23
- Fix Issue #166: External Url anchor handling.
- Update relink logger text.
- Update logic for download all novel info.
- Update chapter listing to show actual url for external chapter.

Hello, i just check some pages, and i dont think i see someone got the same problem like me,

After i update to version 23, the novel page info start to become bugged. For example, when i open mondaiji-tachi page, almost all the chapter link become purple(not red or white), and not accessible. But there some chapter that still worked (white color), as if i open the baka-tsuki.org project page, all of the link is accessible

Thank you,

(i use samsung galaxy s5 with kitkat android)

I expected this much, given that I asked for it, but for once I actually looked at the image database folder and found out why it took up so much space and I realize that it shouldnt be this large. As I look through this, folder contains duplicates. Same image, same compression, identical file names, only that the images are located under a folder with or without a dot in the name. This leads to duplicates of the same image and I am unsure which one I am supposed to delete to save space. Not to mention the sheer number of images number in the ten thousands, and I expect half of them are duplicates. Is there a way to clear this large number of them without having to erase the entire database (It takes up a few gigs, and I dont want to take so much time redownloading them all individually)
samples for those dirs? it should not have dot in the folder name. What is your settings for the image location?
I think I've been using the same database for a while now. Maybe it updated and when it did, downloaded another set of images altogether.
As for where it is, I think it's the default, although the reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to transfer the images over to my new device which has an external SD card, which is when I noticed the change. I dont want to redownload the images, as some novels have been deleted and it also would take up my monthly bandwidth.

Try to use dupdetector and then do relink images?

EDIT: update apk to prod
