Ok, I've finished it(Quality-wise, it's not my best, but I'm facing some difficultly with how some things are phrased)

On a side note, I've finished v9 epilogue, now where did I hide it?

There are, I think. Refer to this: http://www.baka-tsuki.org/project/index ... ation_Page

I can't tell you if they're still active or not, except chancs, since he replied my message on this page.

Do note that no one has any idea if there's actually any progress. There's no internal discussion system, what you can see is what has been discussed. So, basically, there's practically no discussion.

Also, if you're asking this, because of the pace vol 6 is being churned out, well, just be prepared to wait quite long; unlike the norm, zzhk is an entirely different beast.

to those readers who are happy with the sudden outburst of translations:

Please do not get overly-hype to this situation and think of this as a normal occurrence. zzhk is a monster, no doubts and complains in there. it is a good thing he decided to do this but do not think that other translators of this series must follow him. its a headache enough to hear complains in translation speed and honestly it ticks people off enough to just quit.

Would I be able to skip past two volumes and still understand the story since volume 6 is done yet 4 and 5 aren't or should I wait it out till they are all translated?

It's better if you don't do that. 2 volumes is simply too much and it seems like you would miss out too much (a lot of new charachters due to the blade dance event).

I've read through it (side effect of having to build pdfs, even if I didn't want to read it myself :P ), the volume itself is a more-or-less complete story. However I believe it's something like volume 3 in a 5 volume story arc, so you'll be spoiled slightly on the previous two volumes, but other then that it's an enjoyable read.
